Very good tour guide
Some attractions are very good, such as the eco park, but some are just OK, such as the Sand Dunes. Nonetheless, the tour guide is very good. We told them that we wanted to taste local food, and he specifically made an arrangement with a restaurant. He even bought bread fruits for us.

Lovely day tour, tour guide was awesome!
Our destinations were interesting, my favourite being the pottery village with the Kava ceremony. The women at the village were very welcoming, and they gave a wonderful pottery demonstration. The eco park was more expensive than expected at $75fjd for basic entry, however it was pleasant. We were able to feed the turtles and hold an iguana so those were highlights. The sand dunes walk was not too challenging if you took the short route like us, but keep a look out for the exit sign on the beach because we missed it and that was no fun! We stopped at the Sigatoka local market for lunch and that was a particular stand out to the day. Our tour guide Gamal made the experience 5 stars. He took us to our destinations no trouble, and was a very good driver. He made stops along the way as needed for food or drinks and other things when we asked. He answered all our questions about Fiji and was very knowledgeable, telling us about cultural customs and information/history related to Fiji and our interests. He was very kind and helpful getting us set up at our excursions, and he gave us tips that will surely be helpful for getting around on the rest of our trip. For a full day tour we felt like it was action packed but we felt very well looked after and safe as female travellers. Would definitely recommend Gamal if you book with Valentine travel tours.

Paid Double!
The tour I paid for was for three places: the Pottery Village, which was a wonderful experience! The Eco park, where each member of my family had to pay for the entrance $69.00! That was very disappointed! For the sand dunes we had to pay $10.00 each, we were giving a map for us to go on our own. The area was very confusing, no one else was there at the moment, and we got lost!! That was a scary and a horrible experience for us!! Later, we understood that what I paid was just for a ride!
Response from the operator: Bula Helen, We’re very sorry you had a disappointing experience. Our driver/guide should not have asked you to pay the sand dunes entrance fees, and we will address this immediately. The Eco Park is optional, and we understand the high fee can be a concern; we cover the other included entrance fees for you. We’ll also review the map guidance to prevent confusion in the future. As a gesture of goodwill, we’ll issue a 50% refund. Please contact our reservations team with your reference number so we can process it promptly. If you can share your reservation number, tour date, and names (optional), we’ll speed things up. We truly apologise for the trouble you faced. Vinaka Valentine

Dunes Trip
Drove 1 hr to the dunes which were worth seeing and then to the Pottery Village which was nice but a little similar to other village visits. Went to Adventure Park only wanting to see iguanas bit would have had to pay $68 so not good value. Good for families.
Response from the operator: Bula Mandy, The adventure park is optional and entirely up to the guest. To be honest, we don't recommend the adventure part due to the expensive entry fee. We understand what you mean, and for future guests as well, we simply present it as a choice. it's ultimately the customer's decision. vinaka

Driving tour of pottery village, salad bowl, sand dunes, eco park and more
Mory was a great driver and was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure my friend and I had a great day! Would recommend him to anyone! The pottery village, sand dunes and Morys driving tour was incredible and we really enjoyed it! However, the conditions of the animals at the eco park was disheartening and disappointing.

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
"Discover Fiji's Hidden Gems: Eco Park, Pottery Village & Dunes!": questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Viti Levu.
How much does "Discover Fiji's Hidden Gems: Eco Park, Pottery Village & Dunes!" cost?
+
Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Viti Levu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does "Discover Fiji's Hidden Gems: Eco Park, Pottery Village & Dunes!" take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Viti Levu is not rushed.
Is "Discover Fiji's Hidden Gems: Eco Park, Pottery Village & Dunes!" worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Viti Levu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule "Discover Fiji's Hidden Gems: Eco Park, Pottery Village & Dunes!"?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is "Discover Fiji's Hidden Gems: Eco Park, Pottery Village & Dunes!" suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book "Discover Fiji's Hidden Gems: Eco Park, Pottery Village & Dunes!"?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Viti Levu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Viti Levu and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does "Discover Fiji's Hidden Gems: Eco Park, Pottery Village & Dunes!" start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Viti Levu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Viti Levu?
+
On Outty we rank every Viti Levu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cruisin’ Fiji: Monuriki, Mana Sand Bar & Snorkelling Day Cruise, River Tubing Fiji, Navua River, Naihehe Cave Safari in Sigatoka with BBQ Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Viti Levu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Viti Levu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
