    AVOID BUYING BILLETS VIA TRIPADVISOR!

Very bad experience. Never more booking via Tripadvisor! Our tickets were not approved by security guards at the entrance. We had to go to the ticket office, where they were also not approved. Back to security, and again back to the ticket office. After a lot of discussions and arguments, we met charity and they finally let us into the Upper Belvedere. But then there was the same problem when we were going into the Lower Belvedere and with other security personnel. In addition, we had paid double the price for the tickets via Tripadvidor. TripAdvisor uses a subcontractor Dream Fly Tourism for your tickets, which in turn uses a provider VIATOR for your tickets. But the bar code we received on the tickets was not approved. AVOID BUYING BILLETS VIA TRIPADVISOR!

Response from the operator: We are very sorry to hear about your experience and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration caused during your visit. We understand how stressful it must have been to face difficulties at the entrance and to be sent between security and the ticket office multiple times before gaining access. This is certainly not the experience we want our customers to have. We take your comments regarding the ticket validation process very seriously and will investigate this matter with the attraction and our ticketing partners to understand what went wrong and prevent similar issues in the future. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Your feedback is valuable and helps us improve our service and customer experience. Best regards, Dream Fly Tourism LLC

Not able to visit because of ticket printing probiems

I couldn’t get my ticket from the museum because I had to print the voucher. No hard copy print no ticket. I was sent the voucher when I was on holiday with no access to print. The museum wouldn’t help me . This was so disappointing

Response from the operator: We are sorry to hear about your experience. The voucher and ticket instructions were shared in advance, including the requirement for a printed copy if requested by the museum policy. Some attractions have strict entry requirements that are controlled directly by the venue staff. We understand how disappointing this situation was while traveling, especially without access to printing facilities. We truly regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate your feedback.

    I bought tickets...

I bought combined tickets for both belvedere palaces, but they sent me by whatsapp only the tickets for the lower. I only noticed after 35 minutes in line for the upper, when I was told that the ticket was not valid for the upper, only for the lower.

Response from the operator: We are sorry for the confusion caused during your visit. As per our records, the tickets shared with you were for the Lower Belvedere, and the same was clearly mentioned on the e-tickets sent via WhatsApp. Please note that access to the Upper Belvedere requires a separate ticket unless specifically included in the booking. We understand this caused inconvenience after waiting in line, and we truly regret that experience. We appreciate your feedback and will work to make the inclusions even clearer for future guests.

Direct Entry Tickets to Upper and Lower Belvedere Palace: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vienna.

How much does Direct Entry Tickets to Upper and Lower Belvedere Palace cost?

    +

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vienna usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Direct Entry Tickets to Upper and Lower Belvedere Palace take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vienna is not rushed.

Is Direct Entry Tickets to Upper and Lower Belvedere Palace worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 42 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (2.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vienna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Direct Entry Tickets to Upper and Lower Belvedere Palace?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Direct Entry Tickets to Upper and Lower Belvedere Palace suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Direct Entry Tickets to Upper and Lower Belvedere Palace?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vienna can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vienna and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Direct Entry Tickets to Upper and Lower Belvedere Palace start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vienna within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Vienna?

    +

On Outty we rank every Vienna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Authentic Vienna Food Tour inc. lunch, street food, 3 drinks, Vienna Food Tour: Coffeehouses, Markets, Lunch & Street Food, Budapest Small-Group Day Trip from Vienna. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Vienna?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Vienna?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
