Terror on the seas
The trip should have been cancelled as the sea was very rough. We had booked the dinner and couldn't eat it due to the wild ride. I did not feel safe and feel that even though the harbour was not closed, the boat should not have gone. It was very expensive. It probably is very nice in calm seas, but this was not the case. Be careful if you book the tour. I would recommend cancelling 24hours ahead if the weather seems iffy.
Response from the operator: Dear Valerie, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience, as guest safety and comfort are our highest priorities. We want to assure you and all future guests that safety is always our first concern. Our Captain is highly experienced and would never leave the harbour if sea conditions posed a risk. While we understand the feeling of motion can be more pronounced on a catamaran, the actual sea state during your trip had waves of approximately 0.5 meters. The harbour was not closed, and the conditions were well within safe operating limits. We note your comments about the discomfort during the initial ride. We specifically alter our route to find the most comfortable water, which is why we steered toward the second and more sheltered harbour. At this location, the sea was much calmer, and you were able to relax and enjoy the three-course meal prepared by our famous chef, just as you had booked. We appreciate that you left a generous tip for the captain and crew—this gesture suggests that you were satisfied with the service and the dinner itself. On the return trip to the main harbour, the sea had also become much calmer and more relaxed. We agree that our tours are an exceptional experience in calmer seas, and we regret that the initial sea motion detracted from your overall enjoyment. We take your feedback seriously and will use it to continually improve how we communicate the expected experience in various sea states. We hope you will consider giving us another chance in the future to show you the exceptional experience we are known for. Sincerely, Ana

Sunset sailing with dinner
The crew (captain Luigi, chef Saray, and deckhand Lucie) were knowledgeable, friendly, and provided an enjoyable sailing. Although, the weather that evening was a bit cooler, they provided blankets to those who needed them. We also booked a dinner with the sailing and chef Saray prepared a delicious meal according to our choosing at the time of booking. The guitarist on deck played soothing music in the background. Overall, we had an enjoyable sailing and we would consider it again!

Brilliant experience, loved by all.
Really lovely way to spend a couple of hours with friends and dinner. We were a group of 7 and there were 2 other guests who we quickly made friends with. The crew of 3 were great and we wanted for nothing - lovely 3 course meal and plenty of drinks. We also booked the optional guitar player who was brilliant (see video) and really added to the ambience. Special shout out to Isabelle who kept me iodated before and after the event. Highly recommended.

Why this scores 47
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Dinner Sunset Small Group Sailing on the Mediterranean Barcelona: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does Dinner Sunset Small Group Sailing on the Mediterranean Barcelona cost?
+
Prices start at $155 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Dinner Sunset Small Group Sailing on the Mediterranean Barcelona take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is Dinner Sunset Small Group Sailing on the Mediterranean Barcelona worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Dinner Sunset Small Group Sailing on the Mediterranean Barcelona?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Dinner Sunset Small Group Sailing on the Mediterranean Barcelona suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Dinner Sunset Small Group Sailing on the Mediterranean Barcelona?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Dinner Sunset Small Group Sailing on the Mediterranean Barcelona start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
