Book on Viator - better by far

We booked through Marriott Bonvoy - avoid. Viator is a far better experience. Communication from the operator was very unclear. It was not obvious that the cruise departed an hour out of Cairo when many other cruise are available right in the centre. We were initially told that the pick up was 2 hours from the hotel which would have meant waiting around for some time! We needed to cancel as our daughter was unwell and could not make the long journey but there was no flexibility offered not even an alternative date.

Response from the operator: please show me your ref number still wait for your reply . please send us confirmation number if you are one of our guest to prove , hope you rely back to me !!!! many other operator does this tour and copy from us ,maybe u write to wrong listing ! thank you for the feedback , but make sure you wrote to correct company . you never used or contact us for that tour , you might write that to wrong listing , everyone used our service and know who we are , read reviews , thats why you booked us , we dont know if you are spam or you took money form other to write that for us , if we are bad , you never use our service but you came through our review which are real one not fake . please check , thank you , we wish you good time in Egypt . Egypt is the most safe place in Egypt , check which company you use and wrote for them . hope you be honest and fair no need to have that fake or scam or spam

1* Dinner Cruise on the Nile

The windows of the ship were so dirty that you couldn't see outside. For selecting the 5* option, I was expecting better - much better. The belly dancer was a dancer with a belly. I definitely overpaid with $60 for the same you get for $25 or $11 without the pcikup/drop-off. The food - its a salad buffet everything else is what I would call a "ration", a meager one at that, there is very limited options, not the delicious egyptian food as advertised. They overcharge for drinks, a 10 egyptian pound bottle of water is sold for 100 egyptian pounds, The singer was terrible. The staff were terrible, manager was shouting at staff and customers. The furniture was crowded and what I would call cheap. They take your photos without permission, then turn up 10 minutes later demanding $4 for the photo - mostly with multiple photos - luckily for me I actively avoided the camera as I know this game, but the unaware Europeans sitting near to me were quite distraught and succumbed to the pressure. I wanted to tell them to refuse and watch them negotiate, as they have already printed it they will basically give it to you at the end. - in a positive note the pictures were printed innbery high quality (better than others I've seen). I chose the 5pm start time, expecting 20(average) - 60(maximum) minutes travel time, noting that most hotels will be within 30 minutes or less distance . Event didnt start until 7pm .. noting that after I met the driver and he had moved let's say 5 minutes from the pickup point, the tour operator called him and asked to speak to me, he told me that the cruise doesn't start until 8pm - only after rejecting this completely (as I had a flight to catch) did he arrange the 7pm - even though I booked the 5pm, expecting a nice sunset cruise, and paying the premium price for it. ** Why offer timings that you cant provide ** ** honestly, if I was told +2/+3 hours before I got in the car, I would not have gone - and im sure they expected that ** Save yourself and go straight to one of the international branded hotels to arrange your dinner cruise.

Response from the operator: we are travel agent not cruise still wait for your reply . please send us confirmation number if you are one of our guest to prove , hope you rely back to me !!!! many other operator does this tour and copy from us ,maybe u write to wrong listing ! thank you for the feedback , but make sure you wrote to correct company . you never used or contact us for that tour , you might write that to wrong listing , everyone used our service and know who we are , read reviews , thats why you booked us , we dont know if you are spam or you took money form other to write that for us , if we are bad , you never use our service but you came through our review which are real one not fake . please check , thank you , we wish you good time in Egypt . A pleasant dinner in Cairo

The cruise ship was large, spacious and well maintained. The staff were polite and hospitable. The driver was friendly and prompt. I quite enjoyed the singer and the traditional performers. The ship serves a modest selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages which are not included in price. There is also a photographer who takes your picture with the entertainers for a small fee.

Dinner Nile Cruise belly dancer open buffer tanora show sailing on Nile: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.

How much does Dinner Nile Cruise belly dancer open buffer tanora show sailing on Nile cost?

    +

Prices start at $8 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Dinner Nile Cruise belly dancer open buffer tanora show sailing on Nile take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.

Is Dinner Nile Cruise belly dancer open buffer tanora show sailing on Nile worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Dinner Nile Cruise belly dancer open buffer tanora show sailing on Nile?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Dinner Nile Cruise belly dancer open buffer tanora show sailing on Nile suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Dinner Nile Cruise belly dancer open buffer tanora show sailing on Nile?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Dinner Nile Cruise belly dancer open buffer tanora show sailing on Nile start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cairo?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cairo?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cairo?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
