A Wonderful Time in Dharavi with Hardik
I had such a lovely experience with Hardik as my guide in Dharavi, and I really wanted to share it. Everything was so well handled, from the booking to the questions I had before the tour, to the day itself. It all felt easy and stress-free, which I really appreciated. Hardik was just wonderful. He walked me through Dharavi and shared the history and stories behind the place in a way that was real and personal. I learned so much, and I loved how much he clearly cares about his community. The pottery was another highlight of this tour. He introduced me to the potters and told me about their lives and their craft. We tried pottery ourselves too, and being new to this, Hardik was really patient with my progress! I enjoyed my time making my own pieces- it was such a joy. We also shared chai and lots of good conversation and laughs along the way. By the end of the day, Hardik wasn’t just a guide, but a friend to me. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and I'm so happy I did it. Hardik is such a kind and genuine person, and I'm wishing him nothing but the very best. If you're thinking about doing this tour, just go for it. You'll be so glad you did. Thank you, Hardik!

Amazing experience
The Dharavi tour with Dhruvesh was really good. I did the tour solo, and Dhruv explained everything clearly, including the different industries, businesses, and how the community operates. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience very interesting and informative. Definitely a great way to understand Dharavi beyond what you see from the outside. Highly recommended!

An unforgettable experience and an eye opener!
Dhruvesh was our guide, and a very patient one. We got off at the wrong train station and he patiently waited for us to get to the meeting point. His spoken English is good and we were so captivated by all the information he gave us. We really enjoyed the walking tour. Its definitely something you would not be able to do so on your own, and to have a local slum dweller explain to you abt the goings on in the slums, and especially how proud they are to be living in a community that is generating so much business, its truly an eye opener! Today has changed my mindset abt the slums in Mumbai. Some parts of the walking route are not for the faint hearted. We braved through dark and cramp walkways, but to have done it, made us worthy visitors of their home. To us, of all the many tours offered in Mumbai, this was the one that we really wanted to do, and we are so glad we did it! And especially to have done it with Dhruvesh, everything went smoothly, not rushed, and he gave us an experience we could never get elsewhere. I sincerely recommend it.
