Really fun, first time in my life to snorkel, really enjoyed being out in the ocean and seeing and feeding the fish!
We had a great time snorkeling with Mark and Marin! Got to collect a lot of shells and see a lot of fish! I realized when we got back to the hotel that one of my shells was occupied by a hermit crab! Took that one back to the ocean.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for the great review! We're so glad you had a fantastic time snorkeling and got to experience some amazing ocean life. Hope to see you again soon!

Didn’t see much for the price
Marin was amazing host and great with kids. captain did great job driving. She told us all rules, things we could see and do while on trip. The first spot we tried to snorkel was taken over by jellyfish totally not their fault. We only saw a few dolphins and none I could really get pictures of. Then they take u to shore by crab island there’s not many shells or fish so we were kinda bummed for the price we didn’t get to see much.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for joining us and for taking the time to share your experience. We're thrilled to hear that Marin was a great host and made the trip enjoyable for the kids — she’ll be happy to hear your kind words! We're also glad you felt safe and well-informed during your time with us. We’re sorry to hear that jellyfish limited your snorkeling experience and that you didn’t get to see as much marine life as you’d hoped. While we do our best to plan around nature, sometimes it just doesn’t cooperate — but we completely understand how that can be disappointing. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll keep it in mind as we continue working to improve each guest’s experience.

Destin: Private Snorkel/Shelling/Eco Excursion for Up to 28: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Destin.
How much does Destin: Private Snorkel/Shelling/Eco Excursion for Up to 28 cost?
+
Prices start at $1104 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Destin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Destin: Private Snorkel/Shelling/Eco Excursion for Up to 28 take?
+

Is Destin: Private Snorkel/Shelling/Eco Excursion for Up to 28 worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Destin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Destin: Private Snorkel/Shelling/Eco Excursion for Up to 28?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Destin: Private Snorkel/Shelling/Eco Excursion for Up to 28 suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Destin: Private Snorkel/Shelling/Eco Excursion for Up to 28?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Destin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Destin and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Destin: Private Snorkel/Shelling/Eco Excursion for Up to 28 start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Destin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Destin?
+
Destin sells time on the water: pontoon and catamaran charters out of the harbour, dolphin cruises through Choctawhatchee Bay, snorkel trips to Crab Island and deep-sea fishing that leaves before sunrise. On Outty we rank every Destin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Clear Kayaking Eco Adventure Tour in Marianna, Sunset Dolphin Cruise, Top Shelf Tikis Crab Island Adventure 3 hr. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Destin?
+
March to May and September to October, when Gulf water is warm and crowds thin. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Destin?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
