Absolutely fantastic!

This was an absolutely incredible experience! Samuel, our tour guide, took the three of us on a one-of-a-kind Jeep trip through the Judean desert, stopping for amazing pictures and explaining to us the historical background and regional significance of the various sights. Samuel was professional in every way, friendly and very knowledgeable. I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. This was one of several trips I had already taken with Ben Harim Tours and it certainly was another outstanding experience. Look forward to my next adventure with this tour company!

Response from the operator: Dear Maya thanks for this rave review of the tour guided by Samuel. He is worthy of your feedback for his efforts and professionalism, providing interesting info and a fun experience in that spectacular region of the Judean Desert. We are so glad to read that you came away with a memorable experience and that Bein Harim has proved its standard of service at the highest possible level for you. We sure wont disappoint on your next tour, and look forward to giving you another ultimate tour experience.

Amazing Safari Experience

The tour was organised Bein Harim Tours who have organising these tours down to a fine art. Hava Dorany who led the tour was outstanding. The Safari Jeep Tour was awesome. Although a very rough ride on the jeep, the scenery was breathtaking and our Bedouin guide Ali was beyond perfect. Knowledgeable, sensitive and funny. The tour finished with a float in the Dead Sea which was a great way to finish.

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for this review of your tour and both guides you had.It is clear you were in a spectacular region of our country a nd the safari tour highlighted this landscape ,under Ali's wealth of experience knowledge and guidance. We are so happy you came away having had a great time, and enjoyable tour experience with Bein Harim.

An amazing guide for a great trip.

I booked this trip late evening the night before an early morning departure. So in the morning I was anticipating a number of problems. I could not have been more wrong. The pick up went without a hitch. We met up with our guide, YOAV MALACHI, who was upbeat and friendly throughout the whole day. He pointed lots of interesting things out along the way to our actual tour. He was a wealth of knowledge. Sharing all that he knew, not just about the excursion, but everything on the way to and the way from. Welcoming questions and happily providing answer. I would happily and eagerly recommend this excursion, particularly with Yoav as the guide, to anyone.

Response from the operator: Dear Shaun. Glad we were able to suprise you!! Bein Harim a highly experienced and reputable company, and following booking, the rest should only be very smooth and only enjoyable! Beiin Harim is proud to have Yoav as one of our most esteemed guides,as the many many 5 * reviews on this platform indicate. He is real professional and comes with vast experience and in depth knowledge. Thanks very much for your warm acknowledgment and recommendation. So happy you have had a memorable tour with us and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Desert Safari and Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tel Aviv.

How much does Desert Safari and Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv cost?

+

Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tel Aviv usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Desert Safari and Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv take?

+

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tel Aviv is not rushed.

Is Desert Safari and Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tel Aviv, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Desert Safari and Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Desert Safari and Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 11-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Desert Safari and Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tel Aviv can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tel Aviv and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Desert Safari and Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tel Aviv within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tel Aviv?

+

On Outty we rank every Tel Aviv experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Pub Crawl Night Tour at Tel Aviv, Masada and the Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv Jaffa Guided Bike Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tel Aviv?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tel Aviv?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
