Our first stop will be Myra, which was the capital of the Lycian Civilization for a long time. Here is also known as the place where Kybele became Artemis. The story of the city starts with embossed rock tombs, and reaches the sea by Adriane Harbor. The ancient theater of the city, built above the rock tombs, is expanding downwards. The carvings on both sides of the graves in the river necropolis are worth seeing as proof of ancient art. Top-notch day!

Myra is a gem. Our guide Tulai was adorable and clear in her explanations. The boat tour was private.

Response from the operator: Hello Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your comment. We hope to see you again on another trip to Antalya!

    For women traveling alone

Osman, our guide, and Engin, our driver, were superb and consummate gentlemen. For a woman traveling alone, their presence was a welcome relief from the constant burden of negotiating prices and managing unwanted, unsolicited attention masquerading as friendliness. Engin’s driving was seamless and instilled complete confidence throughout the journey. Osman is deeply knowledgeable and generous in the way he shares that knowledge, offering context without intrusion and insight without performance. The sites themselves are dreamlike, worthy of lifelong memories and photographs, and were made all the more meaningful by the care, professionalism, and respect with which this experience was conducted.

Response from the operator: Hello Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your kind comment. We are delighted that you had an enjoyable tour. We hope to see you again on another trip to Antalya!

    Long but good day

We had a good day. This tour from Antalya involves a lot of travel. From pickup it was 4hrs to our first destination, Kekova. The boat trip to Kekova sunken city was lovely, however we really couldn't see anything of the ancient city under water. There was a stop for a 15min swim which some people enjoyed. Saint Nicholas' church was very nice and it was a lovely experience. The Lycian Tombs at Myra were also fabulous and something I really wanted to see. Our journey back to Antalya was another 3 hours. So whilst I'm glad we went, it is a long day.

Response from the operator: Hello Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your kind comment. We are delighted that you had an enjoyable tour. We hope to see you again on another trip to Antalya!

How far in advance should I book Demre Myra and Kekova Tour from Antalya?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Antalya?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Antalya?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
