After our scenic tram ride, we’ll arrive near the magnificent Prague Castle, the largest ancient castle complex in the world. But we don’t just stop for the view — we take our time exploring the charming streets of Castle Town (Hradčany), a peaceful, noble neighborhood often missed by tourists. As we stroll past palaces, monasteries, and hidden courtyards, we’ll share stories of nobles, artists, and revolutionaries who once lived here. The atmosphere feels timeless — cobbled lanes, lantern-lit alleys, and breathtaking views around every corner. At a panoramic viewpoint, we’ll pause to admire Prague in all its glory: red rooftops, the river winding below, and the skyline of spires that earned it the nickname “The City of a Hundred Towers.” Along the way, we’ll also treat you to a few of our favorite local flavors — a traditional Czech pastry or snack, a refreshing craft beer, or a glass of Moravian wine, depending on the season and your preferences.

Hidden Gems revealed by local friend…
Veronika was like having a friend show you their secret favorite spots in Prague. She took us to several awesome vista spots for great pictures as well as wonderful food recommendations along the way. All while highlighting the Dan Brown sites of the tour. She customized the tour to our preferences including just highlighting the Prague Castle because we had a separate in depth tour scheduled the next day. We had a wonderful experience with her leading the way!
Response from the operator: Hello there! I loved the first Dan Brown tour ever! It was fun! Thank you for trusting me to take you around and such a nice review!

Best tour guide and tour in Prague!
Our tour guide, Veronica, was terrific! We learned about Prague, history, landmarks, life here. Excellent itinerary and overview. Good to do early in our visit so we could identify where to return. Absolutely fantastic.

Helping guests connect with the city is exactly what I aim for, and I'm so glad it added value to your stay. Wishing you more fantastic adventures, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need recommendations! Warm regards, Veronika

A bit of improvement needed
We paid almost EU$200 for this two person tour. The visit to all the sites was good. I think the tour guide should have had more information on the monuments. During our boat trip she decided to stay in the first floor of the boat and we went upstairs on our own. I think she should have offered to go to further explain what we were seeing. Also, the lunch medieval tavern place was amazing but when we asked for an additional water (we ordered two soft sodas), she asked us to pay for it. After paying this much for a private tour, you would think that one bottle of water will be included. Seems odd to me that this happened. She had a beer. We only had sodas. She made several comments insinuating that foreign people should not be in her country and this issue should be also looked into. She was kind to us but these things should be addressed. Thanks!
Response from the operator: This review belongs to Prague Budget Day Tours. Thank you very much for sharing your detailed feedback. I’m genuinely sorry to hear that certain aspects of the tour did not meet your expectations. Although I was unable to personally lead your tour due to illness and did not want to cancel your tour in last minute, I entrusted Prague Budget Tour to ensure a high-quality experience that mirrors our usual standards. Regarding your comments: Tour Guide Information: We strive to offer guides who provide engaging and insightful commentary on all sites. I'll make sure to pass on your feedback to our partner to improve their focus on client interaction during all aspects of the tour, including the boat trip. Included Drinks and Additional Water: The tour package includes a set number of drinks (1 beer or soft drink) and a traditional meal at the medieval tavern. Any extra beverages beyond what’s included are indeed billed separately by the tavern, as is common for group dining. I apologize if this wasn’t reminded clearly upfront, since it is written here in our itinerary on Viator and Prague Budget Tours has the same conditions. In the price of the tour is 6 hrs program including 4 hrs walking tour, 1hr boat trip, 1 traditional plate and 1 beer or soft drink. I am sure the price is accurate to what it includes, but I will also share your feedback to Prague Budget Day Tours Cultural Sensitivity: I’m deeply concerned about the comments made regarding foreign visitors. Such remarks do not align with our values, as we celebrate and welcome people from all over the world. I’ll ensure this feedback is taken seriously and addressed with the tour provider. Thank you once again for helping us improve. I hope you enjoyed your time in Prague, and we’d love the chance to host you again in the future with the service and care we are known for.

Great day in a great city
The whole day was very good and enjoyable atmosphere of Prague was intriguing. When we were picked up at the hotel there was no formal identification as the driver didn’t show any ID of who he was. As we were the only 2 people waiting outside so he beckoned us. At the start, the tour guide introduced herself but again she wore no identification to say she was from the tour company. The tour guide had good knowledge and as expected very proud and patriot. Something to be admired in a person. We wore trainers which was a very good idea for the tour. It would have helped if there was an itinerary provided. The tour guide was very helpful as well.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review and tips for improving our service. The itinerary is fully described here, on Viator, where you have booked your tour, and in our flyer. Our tour guides also repeat the program at the beginning of the tour. All of our tour guides are licensed and have the guide´s permit. We will remind our guide to wear it at a visible place. We are very glad you find our tour guide knowledgeable and we hope that you have enjoyed your Prague visit with us.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
DeLuxe Tour:Prague Castle, Strahov Library, Treats, Tram & Cruise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.
How much does DeLuxe Tour:Prague Castle, Strahov Library, Treats, Tram & Cruise cost?
+
Prices start at $125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does DeLuxe Tour:Prague Castle, Strahov Library, Treats, Tram & Cruise take?
+
Plan for about 5.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.
Is DeLuxe Tour:Prague Castle, Strahov Library, Treats, Tram & Cruise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule DeLuxe Tour:Prague Castle, Strahov Library, Treats, Tram & Cruise?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is DeLuxe Tour:Prague Castle, Strahov Library, Treats, Tram & Cruise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book DeLuxe Tour:Prague Castle, Strahov Library, Treats, Tram & Cruise?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does DeLuxe Tour:Prague Castle, Strahov Library, Treats, Tram & Cruise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Prague?
+
On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Prague?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
