Deluxe Palma for cruise passengers
There were 5 of us in a Mercedes mini van & they were great. Robert the driver was good too but the guide whose name started with an A was well meaning but less than good. The back of the van had us sitting across form one another, luckily instancing towards the front but those across from me had no view. The lady guide sat in the front facing forward talking to the front of the van, she had a “soft” voice with a strong accent so I couldn’t hear everything and when I heard I could not understand. She wasn’t able to answer simple questions because she didn’t understand the words we said in English and we were all English speakers. I’m pretty sure we didn’t stop at one place maybe two listed on the itinerary. I think she said if we stopped & went inside at a cathedral we wouldn’t have time to do everything but I could hear/understand her. The tour description said 5-6 hours but she made sure we didn’t do more than 5! For what we paid we should have had 5.5-6 hours AND would’ve had time to go to all of the places on the list. With a voice like hers she was projecting toward the front while we sat behind her. That’s a real problem. I expect tour guides might have an accent but I had to struggle to hear and understand her. She mentioned Michael Douglas multiple times as he as property where we went but I didn’t know who she meant until about the 4th time she said his name. Beautiful countryside but it felt rushed and frustrating.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. Let me address the concerns you raised: 1. According to both your guide and driver, you visited all the sites listed in the itinerary. This is confirmed by GPS tracking records that we maintain 24/7 on all our vehicles. 2. Please note that this tour does not include interior visits, as clearly stated in the description. We recommend reviewing tour details carefully before booking. 3. Maria is a fully licensed English-speaking guide. Regarding her accent, please remember that when traveling outside the U.S., you will encounter English spoken with different accents. To better adapt to various speaking styles, we recommend traveling internationally more frequently. 4. Maria has 17 years of professional experience leading all kinds of tours, including large coach groups. This is the first time we have received a complaint regarding hearing her — especially in an 8-seater Mercedes-Benz van. 5. As you are the only person, including within your own party, who reported difficulty hearing, despite names like the world-famous Mr. Douglas being repeated several times, we kindly suggest consulting an otolaryngologist (ear specialist), as our customers' well-being is very important to us. 6. The tour description clearly states a flexible duration of 5–6 hours, meaning the tour can be adjusted within that time range. In your case, the guide adjusted tour duration to ensure timely return to the ship, following cruise ship instructions for passengers to be back onboard 30 minutes before departure the latest!!! In short, to enhance your future travel experiences, we highly recommend paying close attention to tour descriptions and, if anything is unclear, contacting Viator or the operator directly to ask questions. Additionally, traveling more internationally will naturally improve your understanding of different English accents, including those in the UK. Wishing you safe and pleasant travels!

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Deluxe Palma De Mallorca Tour for Cruise Passengers: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.
How much does Deluxe Palma De Mallorca Tour for Cruise Passengers cost?
+
Prices start at $79 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Deluxe Palma De Mallorca Tour for Cruise Passengers take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.
Is Deluxe Palma De Mallorca Tour for Cruise Passengers worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Deluxe Palma De Mallorca Tour for Cruise Passengers?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Deluxe Palma De Mallorca Tour for Cruise Passengers suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Deluxe Palma De Mallorca Tour for Cruise Passengers?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Deluxe Palma De Mallorca Tour for Cruise Passengers start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mallorca?
+
On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mallorca?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mallorca?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
