A Memorable Day in Florence and Pisa
We had a lovely day exploring Florence and Pisa during our cruise stop in Livorno. Traveling with family, we wanted to see the famous landmarks without feeling rushed or worrying about transportation, and the day worked out very well. Florence was especially beautiful, with its impressive cathedral, historic streets, Ponte Vecchio, and lively squares. We enjoyed walking around together, taking pictures, and stopping to appreciate the architecture. Pisa was another highlight, and seeing the Leaning Tower in person was exciting for everyone. There was a good balance between sightseeing and enjoying the atmosphere of each city. Having transportation arranged made the day easier, especially with limited time before returning to the ship. It was a rewarding experience for our family, and we came away with some wonderful memories and photographs. Definitely a five-star day for us.

Florence and Pisa Made Our Cruise Stop Special
A group of friends and I decided to spend our day in port discovering Florence and Pisa, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable parts of our cruise. Florence had so much character, from the magnificent cathedral to the charming Ponte Vecchio and the beautiful historic squares. We enjoyed exploring the streets, chatting along the way, and taking far too many photos. Pisa was equally memorable, especially seeing the Leaning Tower up close rather than only in pictures. We appreciated being able to visit two famous destinations in one day without having to organize all the transport ourselves. Of course, there was plenty we could have explored with more time, but the experience gave us a great introduction to both cities. It was a fun, comfortable, and worthwhile day out with friends.

Glorified taxi ride
It was a nice area, however tour was like a glorified taxi ride. Our guide was a nice man but just getting over being sick. Sitting in the back you couldn't hear anything he was said. Truly disappointed that we paid extra for the tour when we could have just gotten a taxi and saw the area.

A Special Cruise Day for the Two of Us
We wanted to do something memorable during our cruise stop in Livorno, and spending the day visiting Florence and Pisa was exactly what we had hoped for. Florence had such a wonderful atmosphere. We enjoyed walking through the historic center, admiring the cathedral, crossing Ponte Vecchio, and spending time around Piazza della Signoria. Rather than rushing through everything, we tried to enjoy the little details—the old buildings, narrow streets, cafés, and people going about their day. Later, seeing Pisa and the famous Leaning Tower was a completely different experience. We had plenty of time to take photographs and enjoy Piazza dei Miracoli together. The transportation was comfortable, and the timing was particularly reassuring because we were conscious of the cruise departure. By the end of the day we were definitely ready for a rest, but we both agreed it had been one of the most memorable days of our trip. Lots of beautiful scenery and even better memories together.
