A Relaxed Day for Two
We wanted to make the most of our Dubrovnik stop but didn't want one of those excursions where every minute is scheduled. This worked very well for us. Pickup from the cruise terminal was easy, and the transportation was comfortable throughout the day. Our guide gave us a good introduction to the city and shared interesting historical details, then we had free time to explore the center together. We enjoyed simply walking around, taking in the views, and stopping for coffee. The schedule gave us enough time to enjoy the city while still getting back toward the port comfortably. A very pleasant excursion for a couple looking for a balance between guided sightseeing and independence.

History, Walking and Plenty of Free Time
We had visited a few European ports already on this cruise, so we didn't want another excursion that felt too rigid. Dubrovnik turned out to be one of our favorite stops. The guide gave us a really useful introduction to the city and explained some of the history behind the streets and landmarks. After that, having free time in the center was perfect for our group. We split up for a little while, met again for lunch, and explored some smaller streets. The transportation was clean and comfortable, and the pickup and return were both handled without any confusion. It was a good combination of organized sightseeing and doing our own thing.

Seeing Dubrovnik on My Own

Easy Day in Dubrovnik

The drive was comfortable and the air conditioning was very welcome. Our English-speaking guide explained the history and pointed out places we probably would have walked past without knowing their importance. We also had enough free time in the heart of the city to explore at our own pace, take photos, and stop for something to eat. What mattered most to us was getting back to the port on time, and everything was handled smoothly. A relaxed way to see Dubrovnik during a cruise stop.

A good start
A great intro to Singapore. The guide was attentive and experienced but there wasn't much to see at some stops. I've found private tours to be more engaging since you can skip stops that don't interest you - the drawback of the group tours is that they are template tours and you sometimes have to get through stops that you'd rather miss.
