    Our favorite so far!

Such a relaxing, fun day! So far, Delphi is our favorite of the ancient sites (even better than the Acropolis)! We passed through Arachova town and it is the cutest town in Greece, in my opinion. We didn’t get to visit Arachova because we had bus issues (no one’s fault), but it gives us a reason to go back! Our guide was really great, too. He went at the perfect pace since it was hot and we had a few elders in the group. He knew all the history and stories. We enjoyed the day very much! One issue we had was an issue with Viator, the platform we booked the tour through. Our apartment in Athens was listed as a pickup location for this tour, but it turns out it was not and we had to book an Uber to get to a meeting point, costing an extra fee and us to be late arriving for the tour start.

Response from the operator: Dear Mrs. Mystina, Thank you very much for your detailed and thoughtful 5-star review. We are delighted to hear that Delphi became your favorite ancient site and that you especially appreciated our guide’s knowledge, stories and thoughtful pace throughout the day. We are also sorry that the unexpected coach issue prevented the planned visit to Arachova. As you kindly mentioned, this was an unforeseen situation, and we appreciate your understanding. Regarding the pickup, we would also like to clarify how the process works. During the booking process, Viator allows travelers to enter their preferred pickup location. However, operationally it is not possible for the coach to stop at every hotel or private address in Athens. For this reason, once we receive the guest’s accommodation details, we arrange the nearest available pickup point within our operating route. We are sorry that this caused inconvenience and an additional transfer cost for you, and we truly appreciate you mentioning it in such a fair and constructive way. Thank you again for sharing your experience. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Greece in the future — and hopefully to Arachova next time as well! Delphi Full-Day Guided Tour from Athens (UNESCO Site): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.

How much does Delphi Full-Day Guided Tour from Athens (UNESCO Site) cost?

    +

Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Delphi Full-Day Guided Tour from Athens (UNESCO Site) take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.

Is Delphi Full-Day Guided Tour from Athens (UNESCO Site) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Delphi Full-Day Guided Tour from Athens (UNESCO Site)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Delphi Full-Day Guided Tour from Athens (UNESCO Site) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Delphi Full-Day Guided Tour from Athens (UNESCO Site)?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Delphi Full-Day Guided Tour from Athens (UNESCO Site) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

    +

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
