We will enjoy a visit to Delphi, novel of the world and the religious sites of Meteora. Also, we will pass by Thermopylae, where the 300 Spartans fought and the breathtaking Arachova. What you'll see and do
Campo della battaglia delle Termopili
Our trip will start from Athens and then we will drive to Thermopylae, where we will visit Thermopylae's Innovative Centre of Historical Information and we will see the Statue of Leonidas.

Afterwards we will drive to the breathtaking Meteora, where we will visit a lot of monasteries, built on top of 1000 foot rocks, such as the Holy Monastery of Varlaam, Rousanou and the Holy Trinity. Then we will take a break for a coffee at Kalabaka. Driving through the beautiful stone villages of Arachova where we'll be able to stop so that you can take photos and buy souvenirs.

Delphi Ancient Town
After a wonderful scenic drive through mountains and fertile valleys we reach Delphi, located under the 3000ft tall mountain Parnassos. There we will visit the Archaeological museum of Delphi, we will see the Archaeological site of Delphi and the site of the temple of Apollo.

Best 1-Day Trip outside of Athens
This was exactly the 1-day trip outside of Athens we had hoped for. Make no mistake. Delphi and Meteora are not near Athens, but these incredible sights are worth the long day in the car (~8h round trip + ~3.5h sight seeing). What made it all the better was the incredible service. Our driver and tour guide Paddy was THE BEST. He knew where to go, when to be there, what pit stops would be most convenient, and always had cold drinks and snacks ready. We could not have wished for a better trip. Note that depending on season, weather, traffic, etc. you may need to be flexible. But you will be in good hands. Make sure to tip your driver generously. They work very hard for you to have a seamless experience. Thank you Paddy!! Thank you Theodores Travel.

Ozzy made our day amazing!
We did the Thermopylae, Meteora and Delphi Private Full Day Tour with our guide Ozzy and had an absolutely wonderful time! Ozzy is such an amazing source of knowledge, and explains things so well that we were all (12yr old to 49 yr old) mesmerised for the whole day. We started early, and my plan was to have a nap in the car in the morning, but as soon as Ozzy started talking I was hooked and wide awake. He managed to avoid some rain clouds by rearranging the order of the sites so that by the time we got to them we had clear blue skies and plenty of time to walk around them. We as a family of 4 had one of the best experiences on our holiday by having Ozzy take us around, and we cannot recommend it more! So many amazing memories, and we learned so much too! Thank you Ozzy for making our day!

A must see when in Athens
Wonderful experience seeing these 2 UNESCO world heritage sites. A must see when in Athens. Our tour guide and driver. Giorgio was very informative. We got picked up on time in a Mercedes sedan. The ride was long but very comfortable and safe.

This day was magical....
This day was magical. Dimos became our friend throughout the day. He was knowledgeable and friendly. The locations were so cool. Particularly, Meteora. We have already recommended that location to friends. The car was clean and comfortable. This was a once in a lifetime tour!

Fantastic, accessible, and deeply informative tour with Patty
We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the Delphi and Meteora Private Day Trip from Athens with Theodores Travel! Our guide for the day was a wonderful gentleman named Patty, and he truly went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. My husband is 85 years old with mobility issues, and I am also disabled. Traveling to historic sites can sometimes be daunting, but Patty made everything incredibly accessible and comfortable for us. Thanks to his attentiveness and care, we were able to fully enjoy and experience these special places without any stress. Not only was he accommodating, but he was also an exceptional guide. Patty explained the history of each site in great detail, and he spoke so clearly that he was incredibly easy to understand. To top off an already perfect day, Patty took us to a special little restaurant at the end of the tour, and the food there was absolutely delicious!
