    Wonderful experience

We were welcomed into the home of a beautiful family. We met parents and two daughters. We were rushed for time due to having to catch a flight and they were so accommodating to our needs. The food was amazing as was the forthcoming information they provided regarding life in India. Very interesting and informative tour and I highly recommend this tour. Can’t recommend enough.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words! We’re so glad you enjoyed your time with our family, even with the rush before your flight. It was a pleasure to share our food and stories with you. We hope to see you again in the future! Warm regards, Faramarz and Family Delhi Kabul Cooking Classes

This will change the way you cook Indian food

This was a great Cooking Class, and changed my approach to Indian cooking. I have tried to learn Indian cooking from books and television shows but it never really worked until I had hands on instructions in peoples homes. In this class, I learnt to make a classic spinach dish, eggplant and tomato, and biryani it was very helpful that we learnt two different types of biryani one chicken and one vegetable, so I can make an excellent dinner for my vegetarian friends. Since coming back home, I have made the spinach and eggplant dishes repeatedly and they are extremely popular. The family were very warm and kind and I just loved the whole experience. Recommended.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely review! We’re so happy to hear that the class changed your approach to Indian cooking and that you’ve been enjoying the dishes at home. It’s great that the spinach, eggplant, and both biryanis have become favorites! We loved having you with us and are glad you felt welcomed by our family. We hope to cook with you again soon! 11/10 would recommend

My dear friend, Faramarz, recommended me this beautiful experience and it was more than worth it! I honestly had THE best time Zareen and Marjan. The mother-daughter cooking class was definitely one of my greatest highlights while being in India. Both of them put so much love in this culinary class and at the same time a lot of knowledge. You’ll learn all the recipes from scratch while receiving superinteresting insights into all the spices and the Afghan-Indian culture!! 11/10 would recommend!! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful experience with me! Heaps of love, Linda xx

Response from the operator: Dear Linda, Thank you for such a heartfelt message! It means the world to us that you enjoyed your time with my mother Zareen and my sister Marjan. We’re so happy that this cooking class became one of the highlights of your trip — sharing our love for cooking, spices, and culture with you was a true joy. My family would love to cook with you again whenever you find yourself back in Delhi. Sending you lots of love, Faramarz and Family Delhi Kabul Cooking Classes

Delhi Kabul Cooking Class: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.

How much does Delhi Kabul Cooking Class cost?

    +

Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Delhi Kabul Cooking Class take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.

Is Delhi Kabul Cooking Class worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Delhi Kabul Cooking Class?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Delhi Kabul Cooking Class suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Delhi Kabul Cooking Class?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Delhi Kabul Cooking Class start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in New Delhi?

    +

On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
