Best Tour to do in Delhi
What amazing experience of Old Delhi, we tried 14 different foods. Each experience came history of the food in India but not too much. We walked down many laneways I wouldn’t have ventured on my own. Ash was an amazing tour guide, one of the best I’ve experienced in my many travels around the world. You felt like you were with an old friend for the day. Ash’s English skills were impeccable which made understanding what he wanted to share so much easier. This will be top 5 day in my travels. If you enjoy experiencing a new culture through food this is a must. If I only had one day in Delhi this is the tour for you. You can easy head over to the Red fort on your own at the end.
Response from the operator: Namaste Sharron, Your detailed review is much appreciated! We are glad to make it on the top 5 days list of your travel. Motivated by your kind feedback!! Thanks again Team - Food Tour In Delhi

Full Belly Tour!
Did this the day after arriving in Delhi. It was a great introduction to India and old Delhi. We visited restaurants you would never find on your own and some have been operating for generations. Food was amazing and very tempting to eat it all, but dont do it. Tour guide Aditya had exceptional knowledge about foods and history. At the end of the tour Aditya helped me to navigate the subway and made sure I got back to my hotel.Even paid for my train ticket, Thanks Aditya!!
Response from the operator: Namaste Benny, Thank you for the wonderful review. We are glad to know that you enjoyed the food tour. Hope we see you soon on your next trip to India. Thanks Team - Food Tour in Delhi

Only way to learn and appreciate street food
Jaidev was an excellent guide we went to places that we could never have found on our own or imagined going in to. The food was simply excellent. We have been on tour in India for three days since this culinary experience, and have not been able to get anywhere near the experiences we had on the day. If you want to learn about Old Delhi and experience some exceptional food then this is the only way to go.
Response from the operator: Namaste John, Thank you for writing such a wonderful review, much appreciated! It was a great compliment and motivation for our team to deliver the best. Thanks again! Team - Food Tour In Delhi

Incredible insight into authentic local food
TAKE THE UPGRADE to being accompanied by the chef. Raj was an absolute wealth of knowledge, obviously very very well versed in all things culinary and actually taught me how to taste food. Huh? Yes, until this tour I did not know how to extract the most flavour from foods I eat. Oil based heat ( mistakenly referred to as "spicy" ) and water based heat are very different is just one mystery explained... You know, some foods hit hard out of the gate and then settle down while others build and build.. One of many things explained by Raj while you enjoy a vast range of different foods. Clive.
Response from the operator: Namaste, Thank you for taking time out and writing us a wonderful review. Hope the flavour notes will help you always to appreciate the food from around the world. We hope to see you again on your next trip to India and explore the other unseen, non-touristy destinations and their food culture. Thanks Team - Food Tour In Delhi

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Delhi Food Walk and Cooking Class With A Chef: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Delhi Food Walk and Cooking Class With A Chef cost?
+
Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Delhi Food Walk and Cooking Class With A Chef take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Delhi Food Walk and Cooking Class With A Chef worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Delhi Food Walk and Cooking Class With A Chef?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Delhi Food Walk and Cooking Class With A Chef suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Delhi Food Walk and Cooking Class With A Chef?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Delhi Food Walk and Cooking Class With A Chef start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
