Awesome Delhi trip!!
Rohan, my guide, was absolutely amazing! So knowledgeable and fun to be around. He made the experience an awesome one! So friendly and helpful! Arjun, my driver, was great! New Delhi trip
We arrived in Delhi and were only here for one day and weren’t familiar with the area. Our tour guide and driver arrived promptly and took us out to a number of different tourist sites and were happy to adapt the day based on our requirement. A friendly couple who were eager to please and make our trip successful.

One-of-Kind Cultural Immersion
TL;DR - Beautiful historical sites. Knowledgeable tour guide. Investments back into the community. Undisclosed patronage visits. A long day but a worthwhile adventure. Our guide met us at our hotel and we began the day on the streets of Old Delhi, walking through the Jama Masjid, a breathtakingly beautiful mosque, learning of its construction, royal influence, and cultural significance. Then we moved deeper into the heart of Old Delhi, visiting the street market of Chandni Chowk, via rickshaw ride. This was definitely the best way to experience the sights and sounds of Old Delhi and the street market area. Roads flooded with congestion but tons of energy from the bustling town. Moving onto New Delhi, you could see the distinct shift in the city - from decongestion to even a different kind of personality make up. Visting the Lotus Temple, Humayun's Tomb, Agrasen Ki Baoli, and concluding with Qutub Minar felt surreal. India Gate and Parliament House ended up being drive by visits for us due to the length of time spent on our tour at other stops. Our full day tour ended up being closer to 12 hours, rather than your standard 8 so wear your most comfortable walking shoes. The only part of this day that takes this tour from 5-stars to 4 is the pressure to "buy, buy, buy." We booked this tour with the intention of seeing these historical sites that hold so much of the Old and New Delhi history in them. During the middle of our tour, we were detoured to one of the local businesses - Kashmir Cashmere - and given a lesson about the handknotted cashmere rugs, which was presented as a very small and declining business. The craftsmanship simply isn't a trade many are learning anymore, so the visit was very educational and supporting a small business, especially one that is exclusive to the area, is important to my friend and me. However, not dislcosing it in the original itinerary presented during booking and being guilted into making multiple expensive purchases felt deceiving. It also felt like an abuse of time because we sat through 3 independent presentations where we were asked and pressured into making unnecessary purchases. This part of the day felt very undermining, and only added to a very long and exhaustive day. Because of the amount of time spent visiting and patronizing the business, it detracted from our foot and daytime visits to India Gate and Parliament House, simply due to the exhaustive length of the day. As this was our first time visiting India, in any capacity, we wanted a comprehensive tour of Delhi that hit the major landmarks we desired to see. This tour gave us just that. In a world of AI schedules and planning, a human touch was very necessary and cleaned up our schedule way better than we could've planned ourselves. For that, we're grateful.

Great Value-Loads of Big Hits
Maninder is a friendly face to all visitors. It was easy to see his wealth of knowledge and experience from the history he shared to how smoothly he navigated us through our stops. If we come back, we hope to have him again as a guide. We also had an incredible driver who got us through the busy streets of India and kept us hydrated with fresh water bottles. All ticket and fees were covered in the cost of this booking with the exception of lunch, tips, and a shoe storage fee for one stop. Our tour was the full 8 hours but I recommend communicating with your guide if you feel you need a change in the itinerary to accommodate your needs. This tour would be good for groups, families, or friends traveling together. I would advise families with smaller children to decide based on where they know their children are with handling long events. Even though it is a car tour, there does involve plenty of walking and some stairs at some of the locations. Again, I recommend speaking to your guide about making any necessary accommodations. Other tips for this tour would be to wear comfortable shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Bring a hat or head covering, sunscreen, and bug repellent to refresh periodically. A foldable/collapsible bag for any purchases you make throughout the day is also recommended. One of the biggest pieces of advice I would share would be to make sure you check the websites of all locations on the itinerary prior to ensure you will be within their required dress code.
