Truly a once in a lifetime experience.
This trip was one of the most incredible things I’ve experienced in my life. The tour led by Himanshu and Shobhit started off with an early morning chai before sunrise, and then we scooted off to a Dhaba on the outskirts of Delhi. Our drivers were super friendly, and looked out for our safety every step of the way. We ate fantastic food, set foot in communities I could only have dreamed of being welcomed into, and experienced a glimpse of authentic day-to-day living in rural UP. These experiences and the stories shared along the way will stick with me for a long time. The bike trip itself was the perfect pace. It was the ideal balance between taking in our surroundings and still giving ourselves some good movement and exercise. My experience of classic tourism options for Westerners is that it can feel disrespectful if i don’t know the local languages and feel like I’m trying to extract people’s culture; this was the complete opposite of that. Himanshu and Shobhit regularly took the time to interact with familiar faces they’ve met on their travels and made new connections with curious youth who wanted to know what we were up to. All the while we got to access places I’d otherwise not feel welcomed into (I don’t speak much Hindi). They went over and above to plan us an itinerary after they dropped us off in Agra, booked further accommodations for us and recommended more things to experience in our next spots. Just all around good people here. I am amazed at how much of rural North Indian culture I had no idea about. These guys are true professionals and I will absolutely be riding with them again. 10/10 would recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Jamico for sharing such a beautiful and thoughtful review! We’re incredibly touched to hear that this trip was one of the most incredible experiences of your life. Himanshu and Shobhit will be thrilled to know their efforts to create an authentic, respectful, and immersive journey truly resonated with you. ❤️🤗 It means a lot that you felt welcomed into communities and had the chance to see the real day-to-day life in rural UP — that’s exactly the experience we strive to offer. We’re also glad the pace of the ride was just right, balancing discovery with movement and exercise. We appreciate your kind words about our team’s dedication, from safety to planning and beyond. We can’t wait to welcome you on another ride and share even more stories and hidden gems with you! 🙌❤️🚲 Thank you again for the amazing recommendation — it truly means the world to us! ❤️ Best regards, Himadri :)

Best India experience, even for family with children
Most people thought we were crazy but it turned out to be the absolute highlight of our India trip. The perfect way to dive into the local life, Indian culture and religious life. Our amazing guides, Ahmer, Shobhit, and Faiz took perfect care for us, including repairing the many flat tires and ensuring being safe in spite of sometimes heavy traffic (family of 6, youngest child being 11) and we even cycled into Agra to our hotel as it went so well and we all enjoyed the cycling so much (in total 120km in 2 days). Highly recommendable though not cheap, but it's a "once in a lifetime experience"! Also loved the local food/street food, and none of us got sick! And the visit of the local school!
Response from the operator: Wow, thank you so much Claudia for this fantastic review! ❤️🚲 We’re thrilled to hear that despite what others thought, your cycling adventure turned out to be the absolute highlight of your India trip. It’s wonderful that our team took such great care of your family and made the experience safe and enjoyable—even through the challenges like flat tires and busy traffic. Cycling all the way into Agra and covering 120 km in two days is truly impressive! We’re also glad you enjoyed the local culture, food, and the special visit to the local school. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope this “once in a lifetime experience” stays with you forever. We’d love to welcome you back for another adventure anytime! 🙌🚲 Best Regards, Himanshu :)

Streed food and cycle touring
We took Street Food Safari walking tour and The Krishna's Trails cycling tour. Both were excellent. Guides told us so many interesting stories of Indian history, religions, daily life etc. We ate lots of delicious food in places we would not dared to go by ourselves. Cycling part was well arranged, routes were safe, we saw rural life, villages, and obviously Krishna's living places. And yes, we did see Taj Mahal also. We further continued cycling by ourselves for seven days. DBC helped us planning routes and select accommodation for that part. They were also following us and taking care of us all the time, responding to any question almost immediately. Thanks a lot DBC team. Highly recommended.
Response from the operator: Dear Cosmo, Thank you so much for sharing your amazing experience with us! We're absolutely delighted that you enjoyed both the Street Food Safari and Krishna's Trails tours. It means a lot to hear that the stories, food, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into Indian life made such a lasting impression. We're especially glad we could support you beyond the tour as well helping with your self-guided cycling journey, route planning, and accommodations. It was a pleasure to be part of your adventure and to stay connected throughout your travels! Your kind words and recommendation truly mean the world to our entire team. We’d love to welcome you back for more rides and stories in the future! 🚲❤️✨ Warm regards, Himadri :-)

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Delhi- Agra Long Distance Bicycle Trip: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Delhi- Agra Long Distance Bicycle Trip cost?
+
Prices start at $500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Delhi- Agra Long Distance Bicycle Trip take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Delhi- Agra Long Distance Bicycle Trip worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Delhi- Agra Long Distance Bicycle Trip?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Delhi- Agra Long Distance Bicycle Trip suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 15. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Delhi- Agra Long Distance Bicycle Trip?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Delhi- Agra Long Distance Bicycle Trip start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
