Two best friends on an adventure - would’ve been better without the sales pitch
Being picked up from the hotel, escorted not only to the train station but to our actual seats on the train was amazing. I am not sure we would’ve found our train/seats without guidance given anyone who offers to help is wanting a tip or harassing you in some way. We felt safe and taken care of by the driver and tour guide who was very knowledgeable and helped us understand the history of Taj Mahal. I am disappointed we did not see Baby Taj - even though I had already bought tickets as it was a part of the tour. Instead he took us to two different stores to see expensive jewelry and art which was amazing to learn about, but not what we were expecting to do. The stores were high-pressure, where we were alone with the sales staff, and it felt intimidating and uncomfortable, versus it being an authentic experience where we bought something because we liked it rather than feeling like we had to. The salesman even asked me when I left, “May I ask why you didn’t buy anything?” We don’t know if our agenda changed because we were American or both Drs so assumptions might’ve been made that we would be willing to spend money. Overall I would still recommend this tour and experience but hope the guide learns that these high-pressure situations may be culturally acceptable in India but considered rude and inappropriate for others.

Five star all-day tour of Agra
We had an incredible day in Agra thanks to our wonderful tour guide, Mr. Tushar Sharma. From the moment we began, he was friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about sharing the history and culture of the city. His knowledge of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort was not just informative, but full of fascinating details and stories that really brought the sites to life. The driver picked us up from the train station in Agra and drove us around all day together with the Tushar. The car was air conditioned and very comfortable, they also kept a cooler full of cold water bottles for us to drink throughout the day. We saw the Taj Mahal, a marble carving factory, Agra Fort, and a jewelry store selling jewelry made from local precious stones. Tushar was patient with all our questions, took the time to make sure we were comfortable, and even pointed out the best photo spots. We also appreciated his flexibility in adjusting the pace of the tour and his helpful tips for the rest of our trip. At the end, we were very surprised by the price of this tour because it was worth much more than they are charging. I don’t think I have ever taken any tour with such great value for the price. If you’re visiting Agra and want a guide who truly cares about making your experience special, we can’t recommend this company and Tushar enough!

Best Tour Guide in India
My family and I used Tushar Sharma for our visit to India. We were a group of 7 traveling from the United States and Dubai. From the start our driver was waiting for us at the Delhi airport. The van was absolutely perfect and so comfortable. Unfortunately, I don't know the driver's name, but he was an extremely safe driver and very friendly. We stayed overnight in New Delhi. The driver picked us up the following morning and drove us to Agra. We stopped along the way at a very clean rest area. We were met in Agra by Tushar Sharma. Our next two days with him were incredible. All his suggestions were just what we were looking to do. He is so knowledgeable about all the beautiful places we visited and has so much passion for India's history. He made my 73 year old husband's dream of seeing the Taj Mahal the best experience ever. We all felt very safe and comfortable throughout our visit to India. I highly recommend using his services if you are planning on visiting India. From start to finish our time in India far exceeded our expectations!

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Delhi Agra Day Tour By Gatimaan Express: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Delhi Agra Day Tour By Gatimaan Express cost?
+
Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Delhi Agra Day Tour By Gatimaan Express take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Delhi Agra Day Tour By Gatimaan Express worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 32 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Delhi Agra Day Tour By Gatimaan Express?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Delhi Agra Day Tour By Gatimaan Express suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Delhi Agra Day Tour By Gatimaan Express?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Delhi Agra Day Tour By Gatimaan Express start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
