Poor communication and Seperation Problem
The positive was Aldolfo did a great job giving information etc. Adelaide wasn't nearly as informative or helpful. It also was upsetting that we had to stop in lucerne to pick up 1 person. They weren't there right away so we had to wait. This all took, including getting to the terminal and waiting about 30-45 minutes. This took away time from our destination. In addition, we made a stop in interlaken for around 30 minutes. Wasn't enough time to see and do much and rush back to the bus. If we would have had the time we spent in lucerne, we would have had plenty of time. When we got to our destination at jungfraujoch, aldolpho got our tram and train tickets and everything went fine. On Aldolphos advice on the bus, I went up to the crystal restaurant. The view and meal were fantastic. The problem came when I tried to find the group. I went to all the places on the route, but no group. As I finished, I still could not find the group. When I ended the route, I asked one of the information people about the group and showed her my ticket. She said the group had already gone back down. I asked her what I should do. She said to take the 1 train down to the gondola and then down to grisrnwald. I did and didn't find my group. Adulthood or Adelia never gave us their number to call in case we were in trouble or lost. In addition, no one tried to contact me to coordinate where I was or to see if I was in trouble or needed help. This is 1 area that I think Viatar needs to make changes to or shore up. I would think if they made a head count on the bus, they would see someone is missing. Even getting people's phone numbers so they could be called would improve the security for the people taking this tour. When I got down in Grindenwald, I had to ask how to get back to zurich. I took the train back 2 hours and missed anything else that was scheduled on the tour.

Zurich memory
If you’re in Zurich for just 2–3 days and want something truly unique beyond shopping, dining, or the usual cheese and chocolate tastings, this is it — Top of Europe. I was genuinely impressed by how smooth, well-organized, and enjoyable the entire 12-hour experience was. Every detail felt thoughtfully planned, making the day both seamless and memorable. A special thank you to Sofi and Kin, our guides, who made the journey even more enjoyable with their professionalism and warmth.

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Daytrip to Jungfraujoch Top of Europe and Interlaken from Zurich: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.
How much does Daytrip to Jungfraujoch Top of Europe and Interlaken from Zurich cost?
+
Prices start at $417 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zurich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Daytrip to Jungfraujoch Top of Europe and Interlaken from Zurich take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zurich is not rushed.
Is Daytrip to Jungfraujoch Top of Europe and Interlaken from Zurich worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 52 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Daytrip to Jungfraujoch Top of Europe and Interlaken from Zurich?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Daytrip to Jungfraujoch Top of Europe and Interlaken from Zurich suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Daytrip to Jungfraujoch Top of Europe and Interlaken from Zurich?
+
Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Daytrip to Jungfraujoch Top of Europe and Interlaken from Zurich start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zurich?
+
On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zurich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zurich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
