    Beautiful place

We went by bus (because we were a little afraid to go by boat) we were picked up at our lodging and then we arrived in Santiago de Tolú there we were given a light breakfast we waited for the boat that would take us to Isla palma there they waited for us with a cocktail, the island is very nice the color of its waters and the temperature are incredible, the only bad thing is that at lunchtime there were many flies and we saw a very nice squirrel .

A perfect day in Palma Island: 100% recommended

We visited Isla Palma on Thursday the 19th on a day that left from La Bodeguita dock in Cartagena, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Welcoming was very friendly and the staff always showed good care. The island is very well maintained: clean, tidy and with well distributed spaces to relax and enjoy. The food was delicious, as were the cocktails, which were a great plus for the day. In addition, everything was very punctual and well organized, which we value very much. An excellent option to escape the noise of the city and enjoy a nearby paradise. We would definitely recommend it and repeat the experience.

Tintipán Island Mixed Experience Tintipán Island is a tourist destination

Mixed Experience on Tintipán Island Tintipán Island is a tourist destination that offers a unique and relaxing experience. The island itself is beautiful, with crystal clear beaches and stunning natural landscapes. However, our experience was marred by poor food quality. After consuming fish on the island, all those who ate it became seriously ill. Symptoms included stomach pain, vomiting, and trouble bowel movement. In addition, the island was infested with flies, which made our experience even more unpleasant. Despite these problems, I believe Tintipán Island has a lot of potential to be an excellent tourist destination. If measures are taken to improve hygiene and food safety, and to control fly infestation, I believe the island could be an ideal place to relax and enjoy nature. Therefore, I recommend Tintipán Island for those looking for a relaxing and natural destination, but I advise you to ensure that the food is well prepared and to take steps to protect yourself from flies.

Response from the operator: Muchas gracias por tu opinión, tendremos en cuenta todas las sugerencias para seguir mejorando en nuestro servicio ofrecido, entendemos que hay circunstancias que se nos salen un poco de las manos además de que nos encontramos en un proceso de mejora con la comunidad, muchas gracias por el apoyo 🙏🏼

Day trip to the San Bernardo Archipelago: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cartagena.

How much does Day trip to the San Bernardo Archipelago cost?

    +

Prices start at $180 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cartagena usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Day trip to the San Bernardo Archipelago take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cartagena is not rushed.

Is Day trip to the San Bernardo Archipelago worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cartagena, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Day trip to the San Bernardo Archipelago?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Day trip to the San Bernardo Archipelago suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Day trip to the San Bernardo Archipelago?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cartagena can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cartagena and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Day trip to the San Bernardo Archipelago start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cartagena within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cartagena?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cartagena experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Historic Center & Getsemaní Shared Tour in Cartagena, Cartagena VIP Boat Tour: Rosario Islands & Snorkel, Cartagena Antigua & Barrio Getsemani group with audio system. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cartagena?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cartagena?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
