What you'll see and do
Tetouan
Tetouan is a place that is extremely rich in history and culture. Here you’ll find some of the most spectacular architecture - specifically, you’ll find lots of Spanish influence in this area as it was previously under Spanish/Andalusian rule. The outcome of that period is a fascinating blend of Arabic and Andalucia culture, which isn’t surprising since the area is located in Morocco’s northernmost regions.

Chefchaouen Trip
The driver, Soufian, and guide, Bilal, made the journey well worth it. They were both very accommodating and knowledgeable.

Great private trip to Chefchaouen
The car and driver provided were top class and the guide in Chefchaouen absolutely brilliant. Whilst we started the tour in the rain (umbrellas were provided), the guide still made it a fun experience. Chefchaouen in the rain and in sunshine is an unforgettable experience.
Response from the operator: Dear Anneli, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your kind words, We're glad that you are having a great experience and enjoyable trip.

Fantastic tour in every way.
Soufian picked us up on time at an obscure location in a beautifully clean and comfortable Mercedes van. From the moment we met we knew we were in the presence of a new friend! He was informative, friendly, helpful and always concerned for our enjoyment. The ride to Tetouan passed quickly as we chatted. As it is his hometown, he was excited to have us enjoy it. We spent an hour on our own in the town and enjoyed the views of this beautiful town built in a mountain pass. Soon we were back in the van and off to Chefchaouen, the blue city. The ride through the mountains was absolutely breathtaking! I will say if you are prone to motion sickness you should pre medicate. We met our guide, Abdul, right on time in Chefchaouen. Abdul lives there and is an encyclopedia of interesting information about everything in the city. He was patient with our being easily distracted and with the enormous amount of time we spent shopping for a carpet ( something we had no intention of doing, but couldn’t resist). He led us all over the unbelievably beautiful city and pointed out the best photo spots and places of historic or cultural interest. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide! 10 stars to both Abdul and Soufian. Great tour, don’t hesitate to book it!
Response from the operator: Dear Dianne, Thank you so much for your great review, we are really pleased to hear you enjoyed your trip with us, and everything went nice and as you expected. Thank you again

Great communication and tour
Before the tour, we had some questions about it. Aissa responds very quickly and is very patient, kind and eager to help you out with your personal wishes. Souffian was our driver to Tetouan and Chefchaouen. He is a nice guy, who drives super safely. He is also very punctual, so when we agreed on meeting somewhere at a certain time, he was right there. The tour itself was also very nice, of course. In our opinion Chefchaouen was the definite highlight of the tour. Very trustworthy company, with good people and communication. Definitely recommend!

Save your money and buy a bus ticket
We had no idea that we had booked a private tour; it's not listed as a private tour here. The tour was very expensive for the value. The car was new and comfortable, but the driver didn't seem to want to put the air conditioning on high, and because we were in the backseat, it was warm. We met our guide, but he was almost impossible to understand. He would have been fine to guide the tour in Spanish, but he needs to work on his English. Also, I didn't feel like he gave us enough information on the city. He took us to a couple of places to look at carpets and art, but I wasn't interested in buying carpet. We were asked to sit and they told us that they would bring tea. It was 110°, so we didn't want tea, but we said ok to be respectful. After about 15 minutes of looking at carpets and the owner trying to get us to buy one, we excused ourselves to leave. When we did, he said, "What about your tea? This is how we show hospitality". I told him not to worry, we realized that everyone was busy there. We felt that the whole reason behind taking us to the carpet workshop was to sell us carpet that we didn't want, and hadn't asked to see. I mentioned to the guide that I like art, but I meant the blue watercolor paintings that I was seeing. He took me to an artist who used oil. It was beautiful, but extremely expensive. I explained to the guide that I'm a teacher, and that I buy small or inexpensive things for my classroom, as I'm not reimbursed for souvenirs. He stopped taking us shopping after that. It was a bit upsetting. My husband had cancer surgery in February and breathes through a stoma (I explained this to the guide, and it's visible), yet the guide took us on long walks to these places to look at souvenirs we hadn't asked to see. I feel that the guide assumed that because we booked a private tour, we were there to buy expensive things. Viator should have marketed this as a private tour. Extremely disappointed at the value. Not enough information, and a guide who didn't have enough command of the English language for us to feel like we learned about the city.
Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for your feed back, Our excursion and tour are the must cheapest private tour in Tangier, with the expenses becomes higher (diesel) our agency kept same price than competitors. I'm sorry to tell you that you were wrong about not finding the mention of Private tour when you booked, but it exists on "IMPORTANT INFORMATION ". About driver you said that he don't turn on the A/C, how it comes to do that and it's summer and too hot, when I asked him, he said it was on all your trip. The guide it's only for showing you the highlights of the blue city and not wasting time looking for it, and no one push you to buy . I already apologized for what happen, and I already text you the day of the excursion asking you about your trip, unfortunately you didn't answer.
