Grasse
Start your adventure with the discovery of Grasse, listed in November 2018 as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO for its ancestral know-how in the art of perfumery. Stroll through the picturesque streets of this medieval town, once famous for its tannery workshops, before diving into the world of perfume by visiting the mythical Fragonard factory. This historic house is one of 60 local businesses specializing in transforming flowers into precious species. Discover how the iconic flowers of the Pays de Grasse – lavender, myrtle, jasmine, rose, wild orange blossom, mimosa – made this city the perfume capital of the world.

Gourdon
After this fragrant stopover, head to the hilltop village of Gourdon. Suspended at an altitude of 758 metres between the Alps and the Mediterranean, this medieval jewel offers a spectacular panorama. Discover its imposing fortress and the castle built in the 8th century by Saracens, witnesses of a rich strategic past. From this headland, we quickly understand the importance of its dominant position: control of the Wolf Valley, views of the Mediterranean coast and direct access to the Alps. All these assets made Gourdon a point of covetousness, from medieval times until the clashes of the Second World War, when German armies also took an interest.

Tourrettes-sur-Loup
After the dizzying experience in the perched eagle of Gourdon, cap sur Tourrettes-sur-Loup, authentic Provencal and medieval village. Stroll through its narrow alleys, explore its carved vaults, stairs, porches and lintels, and dive into the architectural ingenuity of this walled village. Built on a cliffside, the houses hug the rock to the edge of the ravines, forming a real natural wall against past invasions — from the Huns to the Saracens, passing through the Savoy, Grimaldi and Counts of Provence. Don’t miss the church of Saint-Gregoire, dating from the 12th century, witness to the religious and artistic history of the place. Finally, let yourself be seduced by the violet, an emblematic flower of Tourrettes-sur-Loup, which you can admire, photograph and even find in local crafts.

St-Paul-de-Vence
Last stop: Saint-Paul-de-Vence, artistic jewel perched between sky and sea. Enter the enchanting world of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, a mythical village where the greatest artists of the 20th century — painters, poets, writers and sculptors — found inspiration. This timeless place, bathed in light and beauty, has become a true sanctuary of artistic creation. Enjoy the breathtaking views from its rocky outcrop, between the Alps and the Mediterranean, to capture spectacular panoramas. Once a military fortress coveted by the powers of Provence and Italy, Saint-Paul-de-Vence still retains its ramparts, built on the orders of King Francis I, which testify to its strategic past. Don’t miss the emblematic La Colombe d’Or hostel, now a renowned hotel-restaurant, where the walls are decorated with original works by masters such as Picasso, Matisse, Miró, Modigliani, Braque, Fernand Léger and Marc Chagall.

Day Trip Grasse Gourdon Tourettes Saint-Paul-de-Vence: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nice.
How much does Day Trip Grasse Gourdon Tourettes Saint-Paul-de-Vence cost?
+
Prices start at $1418 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Day Trip Grasse Gourdon Tourettes Saint-Paul-de-Vence take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nice is not rushed.
Is Day Trip Grasse Gourdon Tourettes Saint-Paul-de-Vence worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (0/5 across 0 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Day Trip Grasse Gourdon Tourettes Saint-Paul-de-Vence?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Day Trip Grasse Gourdon Tourettes Saint-Paul-de-Vence suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Day Trip Grasse Gourdon Tourettes Saint-Paul-de-Vence?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nice and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Day Trip Grasse Gourdon Tourettes Saint-Paul-de-Vence start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nice?
+
On Outty we rank every Nice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ★ Walking Tour of Old Nice and Castle Hill, NO DIET CLUB - Unique Local Food in Nice !, Nice City Segway Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
