Three hour Tiger Safari from Jaipur

Mr. Abdul was an incredibly safe driver to/from the safari park. The tour in an canter vehicle was about three hours with a driver and a spotter and we were able to see two tigers, loads of deer, a few crocodiles and handful for peacocks in that time. During the drive to Ranthembore I was given plenty of cold water and we even stopped by to learn about women’s collective and their beautiful artistry. It was a lovely 10 hour tour day and feel luckily for for seeing tigers. I’m so happy to have booked this tour!

Leo will share Indian culture and his own experiences with you in excellent English

Our driver Leo was great at communicating with us via WhatsApp prior to the tour. He will ask you for your passport information ahead of time in order to arrange for the safari inside of Ranthambore Park because they supply another guide and vehicle for that. But the drive from Jaipur to the park was also wonderful. Leo was much more than a driver. He gave us great information about India culture, what we were seeing along the way, history and his person experiences as an India. His English was excellent. I highly recommend him. He also offered to take us to a shop that sells items sewn by women that have no other means of support. This was NOT a scammy shop, owned by his "cousin" as those deals go. It was legitimate and they had lovely items for sale. We had 3 pair of custom PJs made for us that they delivered to us that evening at our hotel near the park. If you are going back to Jaipur that night, they also had plenty of ready-to-wear items that were lovely and well made. The experience within the Park is more random because you are assigned a guide and zone in the park by the administration. Our experience within the park was rather disappointing in that our "Naturalist Guide" was neither. He didn't speak English but didn't give comments in any language either. We had met some Indian tourists who offered to interpret for us, but the guide didn't talk to them either. You will be in a 20-person open- topped safari vehicle, so bring a hat, sunblock and water. I have been on other safaris in Africa and have to say that this game drive was a disappointment. When I spotted animals, the guide didn't even stop the vehicle for us to take photos. Having said that, we took 2 more game drives with a much more informative Naturalist when we later went through the park with our Gate 1 tour, but that is another matter. I would suggest asking Leo if he can request an English-speaking Naturalist at the park, at the very least. I would say that Leo is worth the price of the trip, regardless of how the game drive goes. If you are looking to get away from the crowds. Leo is also available for tours within Jaipur.

Great tour with a great guide

Just finished the amazing Ranthambore daytrip with the highly attentive and professional guide Raul who was a very friendly, informative guide-driver for the long journey to the Safari, luckily we struck gold and actually spotted a spectacular and beautiful tiger, a really great day out 10 out of 10

Leo is a great guide and driver

Leo is a top notch driver and guide. He will explain aspects of life in India, answer your questions, give commentary about his own life in India. He has a very interesting story! Once you get to the park, another guide takes over. That is how it works. The park guide may or may not speak much English. Ours was not at all informative, but Leo was great.

Day Trip from Jaipur to Ranthambore Safari: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jaipur.

How much does Day Trip from Jaipur to Ranthambore Safari cost?

    +

Prices start at $102 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jaipur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Day Trip from Jaipur to Ranthambore Safari take?

    +

Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jaipur is not rushed.

Is Day Trip from Jaipur to Ranthambore Safari worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jaipur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Day Trip from Jaipur to Ranthambore Safari?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Day Trip from Jaipur to Ranthambore Safari suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Day Trip from Jaipur to Ranthambore Safari?

    +

Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jaipur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jaipur and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Day Trip from Jaipur to Ranthambore Safari start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jaipur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Jaipur?

    +

On Outty we rank every Jaipur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Sunrise Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi By Car -All inclusive, Private Jaipur Full One Day Tour In Pink City With Guide, Private Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing Tour By Tuk Tuk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Jaipur?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Jaipur?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
