An excellent overview of Athens and Corinth

Marios was in good time for the pick up so we set off early. Althought we arrived at the Acropolis early (08:00) there was alread a queue to get in. This took 20 mins to navigate. Although not a problem, had we arrived about 09:30 (which is when we left) there wasn't a queue. The tour was timed just right for the Changing Of The Guard ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Solder. Excellent stops at the Corinth Canal for a high level view and at the Athens end where we saw a few boats exit while we had some refreshment. Thanks to Marios we had an excellent day. Thank you.

Response from the operator: Τhank you very much for your kind words and positive feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your full-day tour and that Mr. Marios contributed to making your experience truly memorable. Your recommendation means a great deal to us. We are committed to providing the highest level of service, and it is rewarding to know that our efforts made a positive impact on your visit. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

    Amazing History

This tour came at the end of our cruise. Although we had limited time here, we were able to see all of the highlights of Corinth and Athens. Although our driver, George, didn’t speak tons of English, we communicated easily and he efficiently got us to all of the spots we wanted to see. He thoughtfully planned the timing so that we didn’t have huge crowds. This tour made us realize we want to come back to Greece and spend more time exploring. The Biblical site of Corinth was a highlight to us. The only thing that would have made it better was being given some history behind the sights. Other than that, it was a comfortable fun day exploring all the sites!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind words and your review. It helps us to become better. We will be more than happy to serve you in the future.

    Amazing experience!!!

I'm travelling from Canada and had very limited time in Athens. My group of 4 people (who have never been to Greece) booked VIP Tours Athens because we wanted to see as much as we can with very limited time. Nontas was our tour guide and took our group to Corinth. Nontas' knowledge and expertise of the place is amazing. He is a very safe driver. He is kind, personable, attentive and answered every question my group asked whether it was about the history of Greece, how things are, best suggestions for food, etc. He is VERY knowledgeable. He has a great sense of humor which made our tours very personable and relaxed. My group liked his service so much we decided to book another tour with him the following day and he did not disappoint. Nontas took our group to some amazing stops in our tour that had breathtaking views of the city. If you ever have the chance to book with VIP Tours, request Nontas as your guide. He goes above and beyond to make your tour experience memorable.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your preference and trust in our company. We will be happy to serve you in the future.

Day trip Athens and Corinth: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.

How much does Day trip Athens and Corinth cost?

    +

Prices start at $690 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Day trip Athens and Corinth take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.

Is Day trip Athens and Corinth worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Day trip Athens and Corinth?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Day trip Athens and Corinth suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Day trip Athens and Corinth?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Day trip Athens and Corinth start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

    +

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
