The Karnak Temple
We will star to enjoy an excursion to visit The Karnak Temple, the largest place of worship ever built. In ancient Egypt, the power of the god Amun of Thebes gradually increased during the early New Kingdom, and after the short persecution led by Akhenaten, it rose to its apex. In the reign of Ramesses III, more than two thirds of the property owned by the temples belonged to Amun, evidenced by the stupendous buildings at Karnak. Although badly ruined, no site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak. It is the largest temple complex ever built by man, and represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders. The Temple of Karnak is actually three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples located about three kilometers north of Luxor, Egypt situated on 100 ha (247 acres) of land. Karnak is actually the sites modern name. Its ancient name was Ipet-isut, meaning "The Most Select (or Sacred) of Places".

It contains some 60 tombs, starting with Thutmose I and ending with Ramses X or XI. The official name of the site was The Great and Majestic Necropolis of the Millions of Years of the Pharaoh, Life, Strength, Health in The West of Thebes, or more usually, the Great Field. The most famous tomb is KV62, the Tomb of King Tutankhamun. The discovery of King Tut’s tomb was made by Howard Carter in 1922, Tutankhamun’s tomb was the first royal tomb to be discovered that was still largely intact. The Best Tour I've Ever Had
I think it was a tour , very good and everything was on time, with a friendly staff and and the guide an excellent Egyptologist, his name “Jorge “, I recommend it.

Cancellation from tour company. It was cancelled a few days after I applied, but I regret that it was one-sided and no reason was given. It was two weeks before the scheduled date, so I looked for another.
No comment on the tour. I don't know if it's because you signed up with a Japanese guide, but cancellations from tour companies are disappointing.

Do not miss Luxor!!
Luxor is an absolute must for any trip to Egypt. The temples at Karnak and Luxor were stunning. It was a long day, but well worth the early wake up time. Our guide was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He knew absolutely every detail of everything we saw. Took good care of everything for us. The driver even hunted down a phone charger for me while we had dinner. They were both so nice. I would very highly recommend this tour!!!

Great time once in Luxor
5 stars for Mahmoud Esnawy - he was an excellent tour guide full of fun facts and a pleasure to spend our day with. And he hooked us up with some legit Egyptian breakfast and falafel. We were surprised when we booked the trip thinking the start time would be 6am, but once booked received confirmation that we would be picked up from our hotel at 3:30 am. We also had to wait almost an hour for our driver to pick us up from the airport at the end of the day, without our flight being delayed. The day trip was for sure worth it and I would 100% recommend seeing Luxor while in Egypt.

Great day trip!
We emitted this day trip. Everything was taken care of, from the flight to transfers to/from hotel and travel in Luxor. Anwar was very knowledgeable. I will say l, like other country tours, you stop by a "factory tour" to try and get tourists to buy things; we stopped at an alabaster place and they were very friendly until we only wanted one small item...then the guy turned on us and you could tell was calling us names and/or bad mouthing us in Arabic. That was pretty rude, especially considering we'd been taken to two different places in Cairo and neither had high pressure sales.
