So fun! Easy enough for everyone and still a little challenging. We were two adults and a 14 year old.

Response from the operator: Thanks! We’re glad it was fun and just the right level of challenge for your group. Hope you all had a great time together!

We had a really good time...

We had a really good time day sledding. Everything was smooth. The meeting point was easy to locate. Our guide JJ was very nice and experienced. It would be better if we can slide down from the hill twice instead of once because it’s not enough for the children. So we went back again ourselves the next day which was very successful. The coach took care of everyone in the tour and ensured we were safe. Only wish there is more time to play. We went on Dec 28, the weather was nice and not cold at all.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re glad you and the kids had a great time and felt safe with JJ. We’ll take your suggestion about more runs into consideration. Hope to see you again for even more fun with OUTDOOR!

    Great start to the day!

Lots of fun! Just be sure to remember to brake correctly and not veer off course :). Our guides Andy and Yannick were great!

Response from the operator: Thanks so much! 😊 We're glad you had fun! And great advice—braking is key! 😆🚴‍♂️ Andy and Yannick will be happy to hear your kind words. Hope to see you again! 🌟

It was fun, and we had a...

It was fun, and we had a great time here. However, as an Asian, I don’t think we were treated well by the guide. It was our first time experiencing snow, as our country never has snow. We were all really trying to sled, but it was so hard. The guide kept telling(shouting) us, ‘DO NOT STOP WHILE SLEDDING ,’ and I tried to explain that it was our first time. We didn’t want to stop intentionally; we were just a bit nervous. Luckily, our tour mates were very nice and understanding, unlike the guide. Also we felt really left out from that group.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re glad you had fun but are truly sorry you felt unwelcome. Experiencing snow for the first time should be exciting, and we regret if the guide’s approach made you uncomfortable. We value your feedback and will address this with our team to ensure all guests feel supported and included. We hope you’ll give us another chance to provide a more welcoming experience in the future. Thank you again for letting us know.

Day Sledding in Interlaken: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Interlaken.

How much does Day Sledding in Interlaken cost?

    +

Prices start at $148 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Interlaken usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Day Sledding in Interlaken take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Interlaken is not rushed.

Is Day Sledding in Interlaken worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Interlaken, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Day Sledding in Interlaken?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Day Sledding in Interlaken suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Day Sledding in Interlaken?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Interlaken can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Interlaken and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Day Sledding in Interlaken start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Interlaken within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Interlaken?

    +

On Outty we rank every Interlaken experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tandem Paragliding Experience from Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Trummelbach Waterfalls E-bike Tour Swiss Picnic, Mürren: Paragliding over the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Interlaken?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Interlaken?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
