Sunday tour
Enjoyed the tour. Antonio, our guide was both knowledgeable and funny. Skipping the line was a plus.

Don’t book this on Sunday - wish they told us well in advance
Don’t book this on a Sunday and expect to visit the interior of the cathedral because of religious service. But what was perplexing was that we were not told until we met - although the staff kept saying that they did notify us beforehand. Also we were told we could not climb the dome because we could not enter the cathedral in a Sunday - but clearly there were lots people at the outside terrace on top of the dome. Instead we were given an extended walking tour but that’s not what we signed up for. For such an expensive tour without access to the famous cathedral and dome access….there are other less expensive alternatives. If the staff told us well in advance like several days, we could have signed up other tours. Some transparency is needed.

Worth getting up early easy in and out of the museum standing so close to a master piece taking it all in. Seeing the Duomo climbing the stairs to the north wall breath taking (pun intended). Our guide was amazing and knowledgeable. Extremely positive experience

Not reputable
although our guide was wonderful and very informative, the tickets we clearly booked were for an "Exclusive Access to the Duomo". no where on the site or our tickets did it state that the Duomo is closed on Sundays - which is the day we booked. If it is closed, then this type of a ticket could not even have been an option. Even the tour guide told us that the issue was something Viator needed to rectify. However, after multiple attempts to get some type of refund, they have refused to acknowledge their error - we paid a lot of money for the tour that THEY sold us on THEIR website and they are hiding behind their statement that they are "simply a third party provider". Do not book with them, they are not reputable

a passion for Michelangelo
This is the tour that opens up understanding of Michelangelo’s influence of art and culture. wear your walking shoes and be ready for a few good natured quizzes. Fredrico guides the group through the streets of Florence with historical facts- connecting the art , and impact of the great master with the evolution of Florence. His narration challenges the group to open our eyes to connect what was happening at the time the art was created to what we see today.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
