Fun, fun, fun! Get your groove on!
This is a great class; learning 3 dances snd sone history about the dances. The instructor was very patient either my lack of short term memory & very skilled at breaking down the choreography so that i could learn. He was very supportive, and I was amazed to have been able to learn so much. Be adventurous and check out this unique and fun opportunity.

Traumatic experience!!
My cousin and I are both female, in our 60’s. We were so excited to go to this “class”! Our driver picked us up from the hotel as planned. In route, he gave us each a kurta (that was slit up the sides to our waist) with no pants and was made very cheaply. This was our “costume”. Upon arrival to the “Delhi Dance Academy”, we were immediately concerned as it was in a not so nice part of town (down a muddy side street with many men lurking around). The driver led us down a narrow staircase to a filthy room with peeling wallpaper, stains everywhere, a “front desk” and three men (two were sitting on filthy couches and just stared at my cousin and me). The “instructor” told us to change into our costumes, in a filthy dressing room. We expressed that there were no pants and the driver said that that was all he had been given. Needless to say, we left our slacks on. After dressing, we were instructed to sit on the filthy couch and told to fill out a form with all kinds of information, including our passport number, which we refused to do. We asked when the others were arriving for our class and were told that we were the only students and that the guy behind the counter was our instructor. Again, the other two men sat on the couch and just stared. We were VERY uncomfortable and told the instructor that we signed up for a “class” and were not comfortable being two women with three men. We asked him to contact our driver. We went back into the filthy “dressing room” and changed back into our clothes. The driver came to get us and handed me his cell phone. A man was on the phone and asked me what the problem was. I shared our discomfort and concerns. He said that he would be happy to have us return for a “group class” at 7pm. I told him that there was NO WAY that we were returning to Thai location after dark! I told him that I expected a full refund of $225.58.

Incredible experience with very welcoming and talented instructors
The class was amazing, just the two of us and the two instructors and they tailored it for us when we couldn’t do certain moves! They helped us so much we picked it up quickly and had such a great time laughing with them as well! They explained the culture and meaning of the dances and made us feel so welcome! Both such talented dancers! And gave us our saris to take home afterwards as well!

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Dance Class in Delhi: Learn to Dance like a Bollywood Star: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Dance Class in Delhi: Learn to Dance like a Bollywood Star cost?
+
Prices start at $116 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Dance Class in Delhi: Learn to Dance like a Bollywood Star take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Dance Class in Delhi: Learn to Dance like a Bollywood Star worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Dance Class in Delhi: Learn to Dance like a Bollywood Star?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Dance Class in Delhi: Learn to Dance like a Bollywood Star suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Dance Class in Delhi: Learn to Dance like a Bollywood Star?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Dance Class in Delhi: Learn to Dance like a Bollywood Star start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
