Da Nang
Across the Han River bridge, lies a culinary hotspot that uncovers the real food heroes of Da Nang's most delicious street eats. Join our food tour of generations-old local eateries, with closely guarded family recipes, tossing their flame-grilled woks as dusk hits. Some are so good that they made it to the Michelin list (something the city's plucky neighbor Hoi An has yet to achieve). From stringy vermicelli with marinated pork, to ground beef wrapped in piper lolot leaves. Get ready for roasted com gà chicken with turmeric rice, and steamed rice cake topped with flaky orange dried shrimp. We'll slurp on fish cake noodle soup, and steamed clams with lemongrass, working our chopsticks over whiteleg shrimp and grilled rabbitfish. Amongst many more surprises, there's 15+ tastings to truly understand Central Vietnam's epic palate of regional dishes.

TRY LOCAL
Stephanie ensured that our Da Nang Food Tour went off without a hitch. Although unbeknown to us, we booked on a traditional vegetarian day, we only missed out on one tasting. This was replaced with an extra dessert, both of which were super tasty. It was great trying many local dishes, prepared the traditional way and has given us a much needed confidence boost that we can enjoy the delicious local fare. Very informative history, food and culture.

Amazing tour and guide
We had an amazing time with our guide Stephanie. All the food stops were tasty and unique. Stephanie was also a great guide she was fun and taught us so much about Da Nang culture and food. Definitely the best food tour in Da Nang.

Delicious Da Nang
We were lucky to have Stephanie as our guide on this new tour around the old town of Da Nang. Her English was exceptional and she was able to introduce us to over 15 separate courses and dishes along streets, inside small restaurants and at food carts that we never would have found ourselves. We also got some history of the area and local knowledge of the best Vietnamese coffee we should try during the rest of our trip. The banh nam (flat rice flour dumplings with minced shrimp and pork) were pretty much worth the tour price alone! This is the 6th Chefs Tour we have now been on in our 3rd different country and will always seek it out when we visit a new destination. Every time we are surprised with new flavours and experiences that we would never have found on our own and that are not on the typical social media influencer radar. It’s a must try if you want an authentic taste of Da Nang.

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Da Nang Nights Food Tour with 15+ Tastings: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Da Nang.
How much does Da Nang Nights Food Tour with 15+ Tastings cost?
+
Prices start at $23 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Da Nang usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Da Nang Nights Food Tour with 15+ Tastings take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Da Nang is not rushed.
Is Da Nang Nights Food Tour with 15+ Tastings worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Da Nang, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Da Nang Nights Food Tour with 15+ Tastings?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Da Nang Nights Food Tour with 15+ Tastings suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Da Nang Nights Food Tour with 15+ Tastings?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Da Nang can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Da Nang and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Da Nang Nights Food Tour with 15+ Tastings start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Da Nang within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Da Nang?
+
On Outty we rank every Da Nang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills Small Group Tour, Marble Mountains - Am Phu Cave - Monkey Mountain Sunset tour, Lady Buddha, Marble Mountains, Coconut Jungle & Hoian City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Da Nang?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Da Nang?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
