Love your local food in Da Nang

Kong was wonderful. He took us to 4 locations with the best local food and walked us through how to prepare the food and the history behind each place. He is very friendly and knowledgeable, and it was great to spend the evening learning about Da Nang.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the wonderful review! I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed exploring Da Nang through its local food and stories. It was a pleasure sharing the preparation, history, and culture behind each place with you. I’m glad you enjoyed the evening and had a chance to experience a more local side of Da Nang. Thank you for your kind words and support — I hope to see you again for another food adventure in Vietnam!

KONG is the King of Food tours!

KONG EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS! On time, clean vehicle, near perfect English, well organized and sooooo friendly! It was like spending a few hours with a great friend! Go Hungry! There is SO much food…too much! They will give you a take away box, they’ll laugh a bit, but they will do it! We did 4 stops and all were amazing. Kong had really thought about his stops and really wants to ensure everyone is happy! We passed on the market, as we’d been up for 48 hours flying in only a few hours before, but wanted to jump right in to Vietnamese culture! BOOK NOW! You will not be disappointed!

    Fantastic food tour with Kong

Had a great Michelin Food Tour with our guide Kong. Kong was very friendly and spoke excellent English. We had a fantastic 3 hours having different Michelin recommended local foods, all delicious and each dish was new to us even though we have been in Vietnam three weeks already. We would definitely recommend this tour and particularly Kong to anyone visiting Da Nang.

The best food is small street restaurants

This Michelin food tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide was incredibly kind, accommodating, and patient—especially with my elderly mother. He handled all transportation seamlessly, which made the entire experience stress-free and comfortable for us. The food was outstanding and thoughtfully curated, with every stop feeling intentional and delicious. What truly set this tour apart was the level of care and attention our guide showed. When we mentioned that we hadn’t yet seen the night market or the Dragon Bridge, he went above and beyond to help us experience both, which we deeply appreciated. He also kindly shared extra heritage tour tickets he happened to have—an unexpected and generous gesture. Nothing felt rushed, and the experience felt very personal and well paced. While I know every tour is different, the warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness he showed made this an exceptional experience. I would highly recommend this tour to families and to anyone traveli

I and my husband have great evening

We really wish we had done a tour with Kong sooner! We did his food tour on our last night in Da Nang, and found Kong to be the best guide out of everyone we had met for 2 weeks in vietnam. It was great to hear his stories and be guided by him around his home town Da Nang. Not all the food was to our preferences, but we are so glad to have visited all these local spots and tried things we would never have experienced otherwise. Thanks so much again Kong and please book this tour if you are in Da Nang and want to see more of the city! Also check out Kong’s other tours!

Da Nang: Michelin Food Tour with Vietnamese Coffee Culture: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Da Nang.

How much does Da Nang: Michelin Food Tour with Vietnamese Coffee Culture cost?

    +

Prices start at $46 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Da Nang usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Da Nang: Michelin Food Tour with Vietnamese Coffee Culture take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Da Nang is not rushed.

Is Da Nang: Michelin Food Tour with Vietnamese Coffee Culture worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Da Nang, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Da Nang: Michelin Food Tour with Vietnamese Coffee Culture?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Da Nang: Michelin Food Tour with Vietnamese Coffee Culture suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Da Nang: Michelin Food Tour with Vietnamese Coffee Culture?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Da Nang can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Da Nang and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Da Nang: Michelin Food Tour with Vietnamese Coffee Culture start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Da Nang within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Da Nang?

    +

On Outty we rank every Da Nang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills Small Group Tour, Easy Rider Motorbike Tour via Hai Van Pass From DaNang/HoiAn/Hue, Linh Ung Pagoda - Marble Mountains - Hoi An Ancient Town Daily Ingroup Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Da Nang?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Da Nang?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
