Informative Historical Tour

This was a great tour because you are introduced to the history of Vietnam and the city of Da Nang. My tour guide Vivian was enthusiastic and informed. Due to possible rain, instead of riding a motobike, a very nice 4 door sedan was used to go from different parts of the city while leaning about it's city. I learned about the different kingdoms including the Champa Kingdom, and the development of Da Nang. The tour included visiting Marble Mountain, the Da Nang museum in its new location, the Han Market, the pink Catholic Church, and trying local street food. I started my tour at 1:30 pm so we were unable to visit the Champa Museum, but I didn't think this was a problem because Vivian did a great job of explaining their history and pointing out examples of the kingdom during other parts of the tour. Also, she took me to Love Bridge near Dragon Bridge instead which was a nice way to end the evening. Vivian was also helpful by taking pictures which was nice for a solo traveler, and helped with pointing out helpful locations.such as restaurants, pharmacies, and helped me quickly navigate the Ha Market to find items I wanted to purchase. Overall, I highly recommend this almost 5 hour tour.

Response from the operator: Dear Ms. Simpson, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful review! We’re truly delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and had a great time discovering the history of Vietnam and Da Nang. Vivian will be very happy to know that her enthusiasm, knowledge, and thoughtful assistance made your experience memorable—especially with the change of vehicle due to the weather. We’re also glad that you appreciated the flexibility of the itinerary and enjoyed the extra stops like Love Bridge. It’s great to hear that the visit to Marble Mountain, the museum, Han Market, and the local food tastings all contributed to a fulfilling afternoon. We know how important it is for solo travelers to feel supported, so we’re very happy that Vivian helped you with photos and navigating the city. Thank you again for recommending the tour. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back for more experiences in the future! Warm regards, Anna Nguyen,

Cham Museum 👍👍

The Cham Museum is well worth seeing - it contains beautifully preserved statuary from damaged Champa temples. My wonderful guide, Grace, enthusiastically explained the signifigance of the statues and we discussed the history behind the Champa but also the history of Vietnam as well. I found Grace to be insightful about history which led to many interesting conversations about based on questions I had. I recommend this tour given by Grace.

Response from the operator: Dear my valuable visitor, Thank you so much for spending time writing this feedback for us. We are happy to know that you enjoyed the tour. We wish you a great time ahead and hope everything goes as you wish in the near future. We hope to support your tour again soon. Best regards, Thuy Nguyen

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Da Nang Full City Private Tour (All sites)?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. +

On Outty we rank every Da Nang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills Small Group Tour, Marble Mountains - Am Phu Cave - Monkey Mountain Sunset tour, Lady Buddha, Marble Mountains, Coconut Jungle & Hoian City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Da Nang?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Da Nang?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
