Da Nang food Tour

If you’re looking for an authentic food experience in Da Nang, don’t hesitate to book this tour. What made the evening so special wasn’t just the incredible food—it was our guide, Anh. His passion, knowledge and genuine pride in his city were evident from the moment we met him. This wasn’t simply a food tour; it was a journey through Da Nang’s history, culture and traditions, told by someone who truly loves sharing them. Anh’s stories were fascinating. He spoke about growing up in Da Nang, how his grandmother taught him and his cousins to appreciate good food from a young age, and how those family traditions shaped his own love of cooking and eating. Hearing those personal stories made every stop feel much more meaningful. We also loved how much respect Anh showed for the local families who have been preparing these traditional dishes for generations. Rather than just taking us to popular places, he introduced us to hardworking local people who have perfected their recipes over decades. You could see the pride they took in their food, and it was a privilege to experience it. Every dish was delicious and different, and Anh explained not only what we were eating but also why each dish is important to the culture of central Vietnam. His knowledge was exceptional, and he answered every question with enthusiasm. By the end of the tour, we felt like we’d gained a much deeper understanding of Da Nang and its people—not just its food. Thank you, Anh, for such a memorable evening. Your generosity, warmth and passion made this one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Da Nang without hesitation.

Fantastic local food tour!

Ahn was the best guide we have had in all of Vietnam! He took us to local spots we would never get to try as visitors and we learned so much about the current culture. Totally amazing experience!

The real deal food and culture journey

Firstly our Tour Guide Anh was brilliant. He spoke fantastic English, probably the best English we heard in our whole trip in Vietnam. Anh is also local born and has walked and eaten in these streets his whole life so you really get to experience not just the food but the culture that created the food. It wasn’t a food tour, it was a food & culture Journey. So, the food was really different to anything you’d ever see or eat on your own. Nothing that you’d see at a typical restaurant. It’s very much Nan and Pop cooking on charcoal in a allyway, sitting on plastic chairs and 100% locals. Things you’d be a little intimidated to try on your own. So as expected some of the food was absolutely incredible, BUT Anh does enjoy getting you to try foods that’s more challenging too. But I was happy to try and get into the experience. There is a bit of walking so more comfortable shoes is a good idea as the foot paths are terrible. All in all this was the best food tour I’ve done to date. Cannot recommend enough.

Da Nang Evening Food Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Da Nang.

How much does Da Nang Evening Food Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $36 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Da Nang usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Da Nang Evening Food Tour take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Da Nang is not rushed.

Is Da Nang Evening Food Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 85 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 247 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Da Nang, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Da Nang Evening Food Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Da Nang Evening Food Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Da Nang Evening Food Tour?

+

Around 86 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Da Nang can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Da Nang and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Da Nang Evening Food Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Da Nang within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Da Nang?

+

On Outty we rank every Da Nang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills Small Group Tour, Marble Mountains - Am Phu Cave - Monkey Mountain Sunset tour, Lady Buddha, Marble Mountains, Coconut Jungle & Hoian City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Da Nang?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Da Nang?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
