Best experience of Da Nang

I had such a wonderful time participating in the coffee tasting, market, and cooking class. Blue and Nhàn were excellent hosts and teachers in helping us learn about the delicious dishes of Vietnam. It was amazing to learn more about the culture and how food brings family and friends together. I especially loved the fun activities that were included to bring the group together and have a good laugh. What an unforgettable memory for our time in Da Nang. Thank you Blue, Nhàn, and the Jolie crew for allowing others to learn more about the delicious food culture and beauty of Vietnam.

Fun afternoon with good food

Hanna was a great guide, the class was fun, I learned a few things and left with a full belly and bunch of amazing recipes. Don't expect to do every step of the process, it's a team effort but I felt engaged. The coffee and market add-on was educational but could easily be skipped if you're short on time.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're delighted to hear that you had a fun afternoon with Hanna, learned some new cooking skills, and enjoyed the delicious food and recipes. At Jolie Da Nang Cooking Class, we aim to create a hands-on Da Nang cooking class where guests can experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a fun and engaging way. Wonderful family experience.

My two kids and I had a great time! We lucked out being the only three in the group. We met at a coffee shop, but actually got ice cream as none of us do coffee. The trip to the market was fun and we talked about produce. The highlight, however, was the cooking. We cooked four dishes and ended with fruit we picked from the market. Dishes included beef pho, green papaya salad, banh xeo (similar to fried crepes with savory filling) and an eggplant dish. All were delicious and everything was very hands on. Rosie did a great job adapting to my kids' preferences. They were thrilled to learn to flip banh xeo in the pan. We also played a little chopsticks game racing to fill small bowls with peanuts and learned to make tomato roses and pepper flowers. We ate as we went along. It was great!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re so happy to hear that you and your kids had such a great time with us at Jolie Cooking Class in Da Nang 😊 It was a real pleasure for Rosie to host your family, and she loved adapting the experience to your preferences—ice cream instead of coffee included! Visiting the local market, talking about fresh produce, and then cooking together is what makes our family-friendly cooking class in Da Nang so special. We’re glad you enjoyed making traditional Vietnamese dishes like beef pho, green papaya salad, bánh xèo, and eggplant, and ending the class with fresh fruit from the market. Rosie will be especially happy to hear how excited the kids were to flip bánh xèo, play chopstick games, and learn fun food decorations 😊 Thank you again for choosing Jolie Cooking Class for your Vietnamese cooking experience in Da Nang. Rosie and the whole team would love to welcome your family back anytime for more delicious food and happy moments!

Da Nang Cooking Class with Coffee Tasting and Market Visit: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Da Nang.

How much does Da Nang Cooking Class with Coffee Tasting and Market Visit cost?

+

Prices start at $23 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Da Nang usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Da Nang Cooking Class with Coffee Tasting and Market Visit take?

+

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Da Nang is not rushed.

Is Da Nang Cooking Class with Coffee Tasting and Market Visit worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 90 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 314 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Da Nang, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule Da Nang Cooking Class with Coffee Tasting and Market Visit?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Da Nang Cooking Class with Coffee Tasting and Market Visit suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Da Nang Cooking Class with Coffee Tasting and Market Visit?

+

Around 110 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Da Nang can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Da Nang and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Da Nang Cooking Class with Coffee Tasting and Market Visit start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Da Nang within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Da Nang?

+

On Outty we rank every Da Nang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills Small Group Tour, Marble Mountains - Am Phu Cave - Monkey Mountain Sunset tour, Lady Buddha, Marble Mountains, Coconut Jungle & Hoian City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Da Nang?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Da Nang?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
