A great day, for a first day in Vietnam
Dat was amazing guide - very knowledgeable, friendly and spoke excellent English. The driver was courteous and we felt very safe, he was called Mr T. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they were patient and polite. We had a wonderful day. Thank you

Just Marvelous!
This was an amazing tour. The company and tour guide Coco were absolutely accomodating and Coco adapted the tour to suit our timings. The Marble Mountain is a must and we were just in awe of it. Hoi An was a fun spot to shop and lunch was amazing. Coco had lots of knowledge about the different places and we even had the chance to do some pottery making in the village. Definitely recommend this tour!

Day exploring Danang and Hoi An
We got met at the port by Duy and his driver. They were punctual and ready with cold water for us. They drove us to several different places in DaNang and we stopped for local Vietnamese coffee. Duy was exceptional and paid attention to our needs and was excited to explain the history and show us the sights. We then went to Hoi An and were taken around the town and then had some free time on our own to explore and shop. The day could not have been any better. From the initial interaction booking the tour to Duy and his driver nothing could have been done any better. Don't hesitate to book with this company and ask for Duy as your guide.

Duy is wonderful!
Duy Pham was an amazing tour guide! He led two of us throughout Da Nang and Hoi An on an interesting, fun, and educational tour. Duy had lots of local knowledge, historical facts, and cultural information to share while also being very concerned about our comfort! We loved that he also shared information about his family, which he obviously loves! Duy and our driver helped us to fall in love with their country, the local area of Da Nang and Hoi An, and the people here. I would absolutely recommend Duy and any of his tours to anyone interested in having a fun, personable, and knowledgeable tour guide! Thank you Duy!

Great tour of Da Nang and Hoi An!
Duy, our guide, was very informative and spoke very good English. His knowledge of Vietnamese history is excellent. We were able to speed up and slow down the tour to meet our interests. The vehicle and driver were very good. I would highly recommend the tour!

Why this scores 82
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Da Nang and Hoi An Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Da Nang.
How much does Da Nang and Hoi An Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $26 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Da Nang usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Da Nang and Hoi An Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Da Nang is not rushed.
Is Da Nang and Hoi An Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 80 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Da Nang, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Da Nang and Hoi An Private Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Da Nang and Hoi An Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Da Nang and Hoi An Private Tour?
+
Around 28 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Da Nang can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Da Nang and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Da Nang and Hoi An Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Da Nang within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Da Nang?
+
On Outty we rank every Da Nang experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills Small Group Tour, Marble Mountains - Am Phu Cave - Monkey Mountain Sunset tour, Lady Buddha, Marble Mountains, Coconut Jungle & Hoian City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Da Nang?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Da Nang?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
