Extraordinary bike tour to explore the Mekong Delta
Extraordinary bike tour to explore the Mekong Delta mixed with some boat trips. A must do if you want to get a sense of the life within and the vast size of the Mekong Delta. Temperature and humidity are challenging for northern Europeans but when riding on the bike the air stream makes it endurable. Our guide Mr. Hai was very nice and pleasant to talk to - and due to his good English really our gateway to understanding Vietnam as we could ask all the questions that had accumulated over time. Highly recommend the tour although next time we would opt for electric bikes :)
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your feed back. We do offer e-bike trip in the northern mountain like MuCangChai, HaGiang karst mountain this Nov, Dec. 2022. We look forward to serving you next time. All the best, SBL team.

Great 2 day trip with Hai
I did the 2 day Mekong cycling trip as a private tour, staying overnight in Can Tho. My guide was Hai, who was great. His English was very good, and he was funny, easy going and safety conscious. He knew a lot about the area and everything there was to see as well. The bikes were really good quality too. We cycled mostly on back roads, past people's houses and along the water. Distances weren't too long, and we had plenty of breaks along the way. Saw lots of things I wouldn't have seen otherwise, a real slice of Vietnamese life. Greatly enjoyed it, recommended!
Response from the operator: Dear Christien, Thanks for your feed back. Best wishes from Hai and SBL team.

What a wonderful, exotic and rustic experience, as well as excercise
It was remote, and so nice to see the agriculture of the Mekong Delta, our guide Hai was so wonderful and knowledgeable. We did alot of biking and saw alot of things, and had a wonderful home stay that was the most authentic lodging, comfortable for this experience and the food was wonderful. I'm so glad I got to experience this in my life.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much. All the best from Hai and Sinhbalo team.

2 wonderful days off the tourist circuits
We chose this tour to avoid the usual tourist routes, and we were very satisfied. The agency is very well organized. The bikes are perfect. Our Loc guide was very knowledgeable, attentive to our needs and speaks excellent English. We stayed in homestay also this fantastic. The food always plentiful and great. We cycled about 60 km through the canals meeting the smiling locals, no tourists. The ride to the floating market was also very nice, we arrived very early before the other boats on the tours as it was only 10 minutes from the homestay. In short, everything perfect, exciting experience. recommended. Loc is an outstanding guide.
Response from the operator: Thanks for your feedback. we glad that you had a great time with Loc. Enjoy the homestay and boat trip to the floating market. All the best from Loc and Sinhbalo team.

Amazing 2 day adventure
Me and my 2 Friends dith the 2day cycling tour around the Mekong Delta it was an amazing adventure, specialy our tour guide Qaung Master, he was a professional tour guide very good talking english. We meet alot of local people overthere. During the night we stay at a homestay where we were treaded very good with dinner and delicous food and a nice breakfast. It was a suprême 2 day tour to never forget, i can advice i to everbody.
Response from the operator: Dear Wullems, We appreciate your detailed feedback about the biking tour with our guide Quang. Biking is the best way to see the Delta because it takes you away from the main tourist attractions and really brings you into the life of the local people living in the Delta. With the bike, you can travel deep into the local areas which are too narrow for a car, and so you will see things not offered on other trips. It should be an easy cycling on mostly flat terrains in Mekong Delta area though. Thank you again for travelling with us.

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cycling Mekong Delta Ben Tre 2days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ho Chi Minh City.
How much does Cycling Mekong Delta Ben Tre 2days cost?
+
Prices start at $285 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ho Chi Minh City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cycling Mekong Delta Ben Tre 2days take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ho Chi Minh City is not rushed.
Is Cycling Mekong Delta Ben Tre 2days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Ho Chi Minh City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cycling Mekong Delta Ben Tre 2days?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Cycling Mekong Delta Ben Tre 2days suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cycling Mekong Delta Ben Tre 2days?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ho Chi Minh City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cycling Mekong Delta Ben Tre 2days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ho Chi Minh City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
On Outty we rank every Ho Chi Minh City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tour From HCM, Cu Chi Tunnels Small-Group Tour: Vietnam War Underground Network, Cu Chi underground tour - Learn Vietnam war with others. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
