This is the right guide for Ephesus.

Went with Emre for a day touring the ancient sites of Ephesus. So, here’s the deal. Ephesus is a cruise ship tour destination. The town itself (Ephesus) isn’t much at all. The sites, however, are important. They get CROWDED with group tours. Here’s where Emre shines. We saw nearly everything in one day, and with one exception, avoided all the crowds. He was excellent. First: professionalism. He Communicated well directly with me about where we were staying, our schedule, assisting with transfers, etc. You really can’t get excellent help like this often. Also, he was on time, tickets in advance, and an excellent plan. Second: knowledge. He’s a history nut. He knows everything. I challenged him on some facts, and he was ready for it. What an amazingly intellectual person! I learned a lot from him. Third: Stories. I don’t like guides that point and say look at that. Emre had stories. Lots of stories. Ancient, contemporary, you name it. He made this stop our favorite of Turkey (and that’s saying a lot.). I wish he did Istanbul….

    BEST TOUR IN EPHESUS//PERFECT FOR CRUISERS//LARGE GROUPS//COUPLES

My fiance and I had the best time in turkey because of this tour. If you are unsure who to choose or what tour to choose look no further cause you found the best one. We were on a Celebrity cruise and it was very easy and stress free. He met us at the port with a private driver who drove an Extremely nice spacious van which made it comfortable and easy to see everything. He also returned us back to the port with plenty of time so there was no need to worry. Emre was great we got to see whichever historical sites we wanted to see and it was customized to us, enjoy lunch immersed with the locals, see traditional rug making, learn how they make silk (from worms), try fresh fig straight from the tree and best of all when I told him that all I wanted to do was try the best baklava he drove my fiance and I into the city and we enjoyed traditional Turkish baklava and ice cream and ended the tour with seeing one more historical site then traditional Turkish coffee. Emre really made our Turkish experience magical. We learned so much about their culture, history, site seeing, food, and more!! Emre really went the extra mile!! If you want to see Turkey and you are in a large or small group, like my fiance and I, this tour is worth every penny!!!

    10/10

We had an incredible experience on our Ephesus tour and couldn’t recommend it more highly! Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and brought the history of Ephesus to life with fascinating stories and insights. We never felt rushed at any point—instead, we had plenty of time to explore, ask questions, and truly enjoy each stop. What really made this tour stand out was that our guide took us to additional places of interest that weren’t part of the standard itinerary, making the experience feel much more personal and memorable. Transportation was excellent as well. The van was modern, spotless, and fully air-conditioned, which was a lifesaver in the summer heat. Complimentary cold water and drinks on board were a thoughtful touch and made the day even more comfortable. The delicious farm lunch was another highlight of the day. We also had the opportunity to see how silk is made, learn about the traditional silk-making process, and even try weaving a Turkish rug ourselves, which was such a unique and memorable cultural experience. From start to finish, everything was organized, relaxed, and enjoyable. If you’re visiting Ephesus, this is absolutely the tour to book!

An Unforgettable Day in Ephesus with Nesrin! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Day with Nesrin in Ephesus! Our family had an absolutely amazing experience with Nesrin on our private Ephesus tour from the Kusadasi cruise port. From the moment she met us, she was warm, organized, and made us feel like honored guests rather than tourists. Nesrin is incredibly knowledgeable, and her passion for the history of Ephesus made the ancient city come alive. She shared fascinating stories, answered all of our questions, and paced the tour perfectly so everyone in our group could enjoy it. Communication before the tour was excellent, and she was very flexible in tailoring the day to our family’s interests. We especially appreciated that we were able to leave our beach bags in the van while exploring and later stop at the beach before returning to the ship. Those thoughtful touches made the day even more enjoyable. The comfortable transportation, delicious lunch, cold bottled water, and personal attention throughout the day made this one of the highlights of our Mediterranean cruise. We never felt rushed, and everything was seamless from start to finish. If you’re visiting Ephesus from a cruise, don’t hesitate to book with Nesrin. She truly goes above and beyond to create a memorable experience. We would choose her again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and exceptional guide in Turkey!

    Ephesus private tour

**Amazing Private Ephesus Tour with Emre – A Must Do!** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We did a private tour of Ephesus with our guide Emre while our cruise was docked in Kusadasi, and it was hands down one of the best experiences of our whole trip. Emre's knowledge of the site was incredible. He didn't just walk us past the ruins rattling off dates — he really brought the place to life, describing what daily life would have looked like when Ephesus was a thriving city. Walking through the Library of Celsus and the Terrace Houses while he told these stories made the whole visit feel so much more meaningful than a typical guided walk. We were also traveling with an infant, which can complicate touring ancient sites with lots of walking and uneven ground. Emre was so patient and flexible with us the whole time, adjusting the pace as needed and never making us feel rushed or like we were holding anyone back. If you're headed to Ephesus from Kusadasi, book Emre. Great for families, history buffs, or anyone who wants a guide who actually makes the past feel real.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kusadasi.

How much does Customizable Ephesus Tour & Farm Lunch Experience cost?

    +

Prices start at $109 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kusadasi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Customizable Ephesus Tour & Farm Lunch Experience take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kusadasi is not rushed.

Is Customizable Ephesus Tour & Farm Lunch Experience worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 185 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kusadasi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Customizable Ephesus Tour & Farm Lunch Experience?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Customizable Ephesus Tour & Farm Lunch Experience suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Customizable Ephesus Tour & Farm Lunch Experience?

    +

Around 65 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kusadasi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kusadasi and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Customizable Ephesus Tour & Farm Lunch Experience start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kusadasi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kusadasi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kusadasi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include FOR CRUISERS: Ephesus & Virgin Mary Tour with ENTRY TICKET+LUNCH, Ephesus Temple of Artemis and House of Mary Private Half Day Tour, Ephesus and Temple of Artemis Private Tour from Kusadasi Port. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kusadasi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kusadasi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
