Beautiful day in Santiago with tour guide Isabel
My daughter and I had such a wonderful experience with our private walking tour of Santiago! We saw the Santiago marathon go by, watched traditional dancers to live music on Sta Lucia hill and much more. Isabel was our guide and she was very knowledgeable on a wide variety of topics from history to politics to art to society. She communicated with us to personalize our experience. She was kind and professional and very easy to spend 6 hours with! Highly recommend!!!
Response from the operator: We’re delighted to hear that you and your daughter had such a memorable time exploring Santiago with Isabel. It sounds like you were able to enjoy a fantastic mix of spontaneous local moments — from the marathon and live music to traditional dancing — alongside the city’s key highlights. We’re especially pleased to hear how knowledgeable, personable, and attentive Isabel was throughout the day, and that she was able to tailor the experience to your interests. Creating that kind of seamless and engaging day is exactly what we aim for, and it’s wonderful to know she delivered that for you.

Amazing tour of Santiago
Had an amazing tour last week with Isabel—truly one of the best experiences I’ve had. She reached out in advance to understand exactly what I was looking for and came fully prepared, tailoring the entire experience to my interests. What really made the tour stand out was her depth of knowledge. She shared so many tips and fascinating facts that you wouldn’t find in a typical guidebook, making everything feel unique and personal. She also went the extra mile with a wonderful surprise: we had the opportunity to go up the clock tower, enjoy an incredible view of Plaza de Armas, and learn about the history behind the clock—such a special and memorable moment. The tour was a perfect mix of history and experiences—we visited museums, rode the Teleférico, and ended the day tasting one of Chile’s most iconic drinks, Mote con huesillo! Highly recommend Isabel if you’re looking for a thoughtful, personalized, and truly memorable tour.
Response from the operator: We’re so glad this experience felt so thoughtfully tailored and full of unique moments you wouldn’t find on your own! From the clock tower views to local flavors, it sounds truly unforgettable — your recommendation means so much to us.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santiago.
How much does Custom Private Walking Tour in Santiago with Local Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $17 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santiago usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Custom Private Walking Tour in Santiago with Local Guide take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santiago is not rushed.
Is Custom Private Walking Tour in Santiago with Local Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santiago, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Custom Private Walking Tour in Santiago with Local Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Custom Private Walking Tour in Santiago with Local Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Custom Private Walking Tour in Santiago with Local Guide?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santiago can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santiago and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Custom Private Walking Tour in Santiago with Local Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santiago within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santiago?
+
On Outty we rank every Santiago experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Maipo Valley Wine Tour with 4 vineyards from Santiago., Valparaiso Port and Viña del Mar with Casablanca Wine Tasting, Santiago: Valparaiso, Viña del Mar & Casablanca Wine Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santiago?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santiago?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
