Great time with family in Sedona and at the Grand Canyon

We had a wonderful day visiting Grand Canyon and Sedona with Jon as our guide! Jon was very accommodating and also provided charging chords for our phones as well. We learned a lot about Arizona that day! Thank you for a great trip!

Bucket List Experience of a Lifetime

We had an amazing day at the Grand Canyon on a private tour with Jon. He expertly guided us around, avoiding busy crowds and finding all the best views. He was even able to accommodate my daughter’s boot / broken foot without diminishing our experience. I can’t recommend this tour and Jon highly enough! Take the tour—you won’t regret it. We had a bucket list experience of a lifetime!

Response from the operator: Thanks very much for your review. Glad you enjoyed it! We definitely try to be as flexible as possible and glad it worked out well!

Amazing Custom Private Grand Canyon Day Tour

Amazing Custom Private Grand Canyon Day Tour From the moment we were picked up at our hotel, Mike was professional, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. This was a completely custom private day tour, and he made the experience unforgettable. Mike shared so many interesting and insightful details along the way, which truly enhanced our visit to the Grand Canyon. He never rushed us and allowed us to explore at our own pace, making the day feel relaxed and personal. Everything was seamless from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend this tour — or Mike — more highly!

Check it off the bucket list

We had one day dedicated to the Grand Canyon so we called in the experts and so glad we did. Eddie was the man for the job - punctual, professional, warm, and knows everything about the area. He was a delight! He knew where the best photo opps were and was always ready to take our family pics. We are so glad we took this all-day private tour with Eddie as our guide.

Response from the operator: Thanks very much for touring with us. Glad you got this big bucket list item off your list, and very pleased that you enjoyed it!

    Fun well planned visit.

Very positive experience. Our guide, April, picked us up promptly and was well informed and friendly. The schedule allowed enough time to take the vistas and do some walks. The schedule was flexible. We had a great time and the best part was that we were free from driving and entered the canyon through the least busy entrance. Keep it up!

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for the review and kind words. Glad that you enjoyed the day!

Custom Private Day Tour to Grand Canyon: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phoenix.

How much does Custom Private Day Tour to Grand Canyon cost?

    +

Prices start at $1075 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phoenix usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Custom Private Day Tour to Grand Canyon take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phoenix is not rushed.

Is Custom Private Day Tour to Grand Canyon worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phoenix, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Custom Private Day Tour to Grand Canyon?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Custom Private Day Tour to Grand Canyon suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Custom Private Day Tour to Grand Canyon?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phoenix can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phoenix and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Custom Private Day Tour to Grand Canyon start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phoenix within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Phoenix?

    +

Phoenix runs on desert experiences: sunrise hot air balloon lifts over the Sonoran, Camelback and South Mountain hikes, off-road Tonto Forest tours and day trips to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Heat safety and start times decide whether a tour is good, so we weight timing detail in the ranking. On Outty we rank every Phoenix experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kayaking the Salt River Foxtail Trip, Small-Group or Private Grand Canyon with Sedona Tour from Phoenix, Grand Canyon with Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon Van Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Phoenix?

    +

November to April. Summer tours run at dawn or not at all. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Phoenix?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
