    ANCIENT TREES ♥️

Got to see Monkeys and turtles at the rescue centre. Did 6km walk in the National park, ensure you are fit to climb stairs to get to the 1003 year old tree. Scenery was spectacular, the weather was dry and made it easier to climb. Not for the elderly or faint hearted, highly recommended this tour and our tour guide was informative and knowledgeable.

    Would no recommend

Would not recommend this tour. Our tour guide wasn’t helpful at all. He was walking through the trekking portion of this tour very fast. I asked him twice to slow down so we could all take in the sights and look at the animals in the jungle (as I live in London I don’t see jungles everyday…) but he kept walking far off into the distance. He didn’t know much about the park or the jungle so we didn’t get any useful information. He said we didn’t finish the trek because “we were physically unable to” but we wanted to end it as we were getting very frustrated due to the lack of service after paying over £200 for 3 of us. The cherry on top of this was via WhatsApp on the return journey I was sent a few recommendations for restaurants, because we didn’t tip when getting out of the car the recommendations were deleted…. This was very unprofessional. Would not use this company again.

Response from the operator: Dear James, Our team thank you for taking our tour. As a professional operator, we always want to hear the feedbacks so that we can improve our service. However, we also hope you should be responbible and honest with your review. Why didn'nt you tell the real story of this? You booked for 3 and one of you could not go and you wanted to cancel last minute and so you asked us to get back full refund for one person. We did explain that it was impossible under the cancellation policy (you need to cancel 24 hours before departure to get full refund). You knew well this but you kept telling us that we must refund you 100% for the cancellation of one person just because my company did not need to spend for that. We explained carefully that all reserved and this is a private tour so even one of you not going but the car and the guide...are still the same. And it was not so nice of you that you wrote a story with wrong information just because you could not get back a full refund. Hopefully you should be fair and should not do like that to others. Thanks

Cuc Phuong National Park Trekking - A wonderful experience!

My group booked a day trip to Cuc Phuong with trekking in jungle. We really enjoyed the trip although it as on a hot day and felt a bit tired. We loved the short trek, saw giant tree. Our highlights were “cave of ancient man” and Primate Rescue center. Our guide was brilliant. Lunch and driver were also perfect. Fantastic trip!

    +

That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cuc Phuong National Park Trekking: Private Day Tour From Hanoi?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Hanoi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi with Tam Coc or Trang An & Mua Cave, Ha Giang Loop Tour 4 Days 3 Nights with Ha Giang Vision Tour, Halong Bay Day Tour With Titop Island, Cave, Kayak & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hanoi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hanoi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
