Great experience
We booked a private Cu Chi Tunnels trip with OG Saigon after having a great experience with their airport pickup, and it was definitely a good decision. The trip was really enjoyable from start to finish. Everything was easy and well organized, but still felt relaxed and not rushed. Our lead host Duy was friendly, knowledgeable and explained the history in a way that was easy to understand. We also had plenty of time to explore and ask questions. Our whole family had a great time, and having a private tour made the experience even better. Really happy we booked with OG Saigon and would definitely recommend them to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a kind review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us. Your compliments have been shared with the whole team, and they serve as a great motivation for all of us. We can’t wait to welcome you back on your next visit to Saigon!

5/5 – Duy made our day in Saigon properly fun
We’re a couple in our mid-50s and booked a private custom day with Duy from OG Saigon, city highlights plus Cu Chi Tunnels. Best decision of the trip. Duy was easy-going, sharp, and never once treated us like we needed “special slow mode.” He just kept the pace comfortable, explained things clearly, and threw in enough dry humour that we actually laughed more than we expected. The tunnels felt interesting instead of exhausting, and the city bits were well-chosen without the usual tourist circus. Small but important things: good coffee when we needed it, cold water always available, and a really nice lunch that wasn’t the standard tourist tray. Felt looked after without being fussed over. If you want a local guide who doesn’t do the hard-sell or the script, book with Duy via ogsaigon. We’ll be recommending him to every slightly-past-peak friend who asks.

Exceeded Expectations.
We specifically looked for a small group tour with a local guide, and we couldn't have asked for anyone better than Huy, a 4th generation Saigonese. He is a lovely, articulate young man with perfect English, who is immensely proud of his family's roots in Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City. His thirst for knowledge goes both ways—we loved sharing stories about life in Australia while learning so much about Vietnam during our drives. Huy’s enthusiasm for sharing, passion for historical knowledge, and warmth made this tour unforgettable. The day was topped off by purchasing a beautiful piece of work from the Art Community - Victims of Agent Orange, who were truly inspirational. We ❤️ Saigon.

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cu Chi Tunnels and War Remnants Museum - OG Saigon Storyteller: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ho Chi Minh City.
How much does Cu Chi Tunnels and War Remnants Museum - OG Saigon Storyteller cost?
+
Prices start at ₫1,000,000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ho Chi Minh City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cu Chi Tunnels and War Remnants Museum - OG Saigon Storyteller take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ho Chi Minh City is not rushed.
Is Cu Chi Tunnels and War Remnants Museum - OG Saigon Storyteller worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ho Chi Minh City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cu Chi Tunnels and War Remnants Museum - OG Saigon Storyteller?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cu Chi Tunnels and War Remnants Museum - OG Saigon Storyteller suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cu Chi Tunnels and War Remnants Museum - OG Saigon Storyteller?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ho Chi Minh City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cu Chi Tunnels and War Remnants Museum - OG Saigon Storyteller start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ho Chi Minh City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
On Outty we rank every Ho Chi Minh City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cai Be Mekong Delta Tour: Cooking Class, Cycling & Craft Villages, Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tour From HCM, Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta 1 Day Tour With Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ho Chi Minh City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
