    Beautiful excursion with Leo!

The experience was superb. Special mention to Leo our guide who taught us a lot and explained Vietnamese life and visits made. It was a great day. The visit to the Cuchí tunnels is very interesting and the walk on the Mekong Delta is superb punctuated by many tastings of local products. Thank you very much Leo! I highly recommend this experience.

Response from the operator: Merci beaucoup pour votre magnifique commentaire !

    Too much

Don’t go to cu chi túnels and Mekong on the same day. You need the day to see and appreciate it. From ho Chi Minh 6 h in a limousine😠😠

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. We truly appreciate you taking the time to join our service, and we are sorry to learn that your experience did not fully meet your expectations, which resulted in a 2-star review. For this combined Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta tour, it is indeed a long day, as the itinerary is designed to allow guests to experience both highlights in one full-day program. Traveling between destinations does take considerable time, especially when combining two locations in one day. Naturally, visiting Cu Chi or the Mekong separately would allow more time to explore each place in greater depth. Your feedback is very valuable to us and will help us improve how we communicate tour expectations more clearly to future guests. We sincerely hope to have another opportunity to serve you better on a future visit and provide a more enjoyable experience. Thank you again for your understanding.

    From Tunnels to Tranquility

This tour offered the perfect mix of history and culture. In the morning, we explored the Cu Chi Tunnels, where we learned how Vietnamese soldiers lived and fought during the war. Walking through the tunnels was both thrilling and humbling. In the afternoon, we drifted along the Mekong Delta, tasting coconut candy and enjoying a peaceful boat ride. The contrast between the morning’s historical experience and the afternoon’s calm countryside vibe made the day feel balanced and memorable.

    good

I had an unforgettable experience on the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta tour! The group was small and intimate, which made the day feel personal and well-paced. Our van was spacious and super comfortable. The guide was full of energy and incredibly knowledgeable about Vietnam’s history and culture. I especially loved the boat ride through the Mekong canals and tasting delicious local specialties like coconut candy and honey tea. A perfect day!

    +

Prices start at $43 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ho Chi Minh City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ho Chi Minh City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ho Chi Minh City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

On Outty we rank every Ho Chi Minh City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tour From HCM, Cu Chi Tunnels Small-Group Tour: Vietnam War Underground Network, Cu Chi underground tour - Learn Vietnam war with others. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
