Transportation

I booked a transfer from hotel in Barcelona for 7 passengers and 7 pieces of luggage. The vehicle for our trip to cruise port wasn’t large enough to handle 7 passengers and our luggage. We had to hire a taxi and pay for that in addition to paying for Viator to fulfill our original order. Very disappointing to have this happen and we’ve had no apologies nor an offer for a partial refund to offset the cost of paying for a taxi service. Have used Viator several times in the past and never had an issue. However, will look at other options in the future.

Response from the operator: Hi Terry, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I’m really sorry to hear about your experience. That’s certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, especially for something as important as a transfer to the cruise port. I’ve checked our system but couldn’t locate a booking under the name “Terry B.” Could you please share your booking number so we can look into this right away? You can email us directly at up@wazup.com Once we have the details, we’ll review exactly what happened and absolutely make this right for you, including addressing the additional taxi cost you incurred. We truly appreciate your past trust in us and hope to restore your confidence. Kind regards, Daniel

Couldn’t accommodate 1hr early pick up.

We scheduled our pickup several days in advance to align with our cruise return, expecting to be ready by 8:00 AM. However, we were disembarked earlier than anticipated at 7:00 AM and contacted the company to request an earlier pickup. Unfortunately, we were informed that no alternate drivers were available and no accommodations could be made—not even for a slightly earlier time like 7:30 or 7:45 AM. Additionally, no refund or alternative solution was offered

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. We understand your frustration regarding the timing of your disembarkation. However, all pickups are scheduled in advance to ensure drivers are available and on time for every customer. Because of this, we’re unable to make last-minute adjustments outside of the agreed-upon schedule, and early arrival cannot always be accommodated. While we regret that this didn’t align with your early disembarkation, our policy is to honor the confirmed booking time. We appreciate your understanding and will continue working to provide reliable, pre-scheduled service to all travelers.

Easy Booking

We had our transfer from airport to hotel, hotel to airport and cruise terminal to hotel and we also had 2 walking tours with Viator, we are extremely happy with the service and tour guides and drivers were very nice to us so I recommend using Viator for travel needs. Most of our tours and transfers were booked by our travel agent. She knows the best. I booked our transfer from the cruise ship to our hotel in Barcelona and I was having difficulty finding a pick up point close to the ship. I sent a text message to Viator and was able to get Editha who helped me a great deal. I told her where we were embarking the ship in Barcelona and hotel where we were staying. Editha found the best place to be picked up which was a few steps outside the port terminal where we got off and the driver was so nice and polite when we met him. Best experience in booking a transfer.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad Editha was able to help you find the perfect pick-up spot in Barcelona and make your transfer smooth and stress-free. It’s wonderful to hear your driver was polite and welcoming — we’ll be sure to share your kind words with the team. We look forward to assisting with your future travels!

Cruise Port Transfers Barcelona: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.

How much does Cruise Port Transfers Barcelona cost?

+

Prices start at $135 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cruise Port Transfers Barcelona take?

+

Plan for about 0.4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.

Is Cruise Port Transfers Barcelona worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 43 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cruise Port Transfers Barcelona?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cruise Port Transfers Barcelona suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cruise Port Transfers Barcelona?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 0.4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cruise Port Transfers Barcelona start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Barcelona?

+

Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Barcelona?

+

May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Barcelona?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
