Really fun day.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This Ballard brewery tour was an absolutely fantastic experience! Every stop offered something unique, from the great tasting flights at Jolly Roger, Stoup, and Fair Isle to the delicious empanadas at Maria Luisa. It was the perfect combination of outstanding local beer, tasty food, and Seattle culture. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire tour fun and engaging. Everything was well organized, relaxed, and never felt rushed. We discovered some amazing breweries we probably would not have found on our own. I would gladly take this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys craft beer, great food, and a memorable afternoon in Ballard.

Good beer, good times!
One of the best and funnest tours I have been on. Gus was super cool. Because it was just my partner and I, it got kind of tailored to our likes, which was great! We tried so many different beers in Ballard and I know that only scratched the surface of what that area had to offer.

Tasty craft brews in Ballard
Gus was a great guide for this craft beer tour. He was very attentive and asked our preferences to make sure he chose a variety of brews we would like. He also encouraged us to stretch our palates to try some new and different tastes. One of us is not a beer drinker so he included ciders and seltzers that were refreshing.

Will is the best!
Will was awesome and went above and beyond! He took us to several breweries and helped find drinks that we would like best! He also showed us around Seattle when he didn’t have to!

Stick to the plan
For those who aren’t familiar with the industrial areas of Seattle, be prepared to see a few unsightly and unsettling parts of the route in the form of homeless encampments. Our Tour Guy, ‘Will’ was cool and hip and was super knowledgeable of each brewery and cider house we went to. The one thing I would have appreciated is if we stuck to the plan and ate prior to starting the tour as it was explained in the itinerary. Will did ask if anyone was hungry But some said no so he made the decision to double up on empanadas at that stop. None of us were really sure about the logistics so we’re confused but eating prior to the start would have helped with the alcohol absorption. Lol The empanadas were extraordinary and definitely worth another trip down there for those alone. The tour overall was fun and enlightening and I would recommend it to others who want some education on Seattle beers and spirits!

Why this scores 67

Craft Beer Tasting Tour in Ballard Brewery District with Food: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seattle.
How much does Craft Beer Tasting Tour in Ballard Brewery District with Food cost?
+
Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seattle usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Craft Beer Tasting Tour in Ballard Brewery District with Food take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seattle is not rushed.
Is Craft Beer Tasting Tour in Ballard Brewery District with Food worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Seattle, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Craft Beer Tasting Tour in Ballard Brewery District with Food?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Craft Beer Tasting Tour in Ballard Brewery District with Food suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Craft Beer Tasting Tour in Ballard Brewery District with Food?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seattle can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seattle and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Craft Beer Tasting Tour in Ballard Brewery District with Food start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seattle within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seattle?
+
Seattle's best days leave the city: Mount Rainier, the San Juans, Olympic National Park and Snoqualmie Falls are all day-trip range, and each one lives or dies on the driver-guide. In town, Pike Place food tours, underground history walks and harbour cruises dominate. Our ranking favours operators with small vans over full coaches on the mountain runs. On Outty we rank every Seattle experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mt. Rainier Day Tour from Seattle, Seattle City and Snoqualmie Falls Half-Day Guided Tour, Mt. Rainier National Park Highlights Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seattle?
+
June to September for clear Rainier views and reliable ferry weather. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seattle?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
