    Netherlands with guide Tatiana

Tatiana gave us 4 excursions and we enjoyed it so much! Not only have we seen many interesting places, but we have also learned many fascinating facts about the Netherlands. We were traveling with two teenagers, and it was really exciting for everyone, adults and children alike. It's rare for a guide to be able to engage different audiences like that. Tatiana, thank you very much for the wonderful tours, warm atmosphere and professionalism!

Recommend the best of our guide

Good afternoon! We are two families of 9 from Riga, Israel and Germany from 30-76 years old, so something was very difficult to plan and choose! But we were very lucky to have guide Tatiana. Helped plan, found good parking spots and restaurants on her tip. We spent one day in The Hague and enjoyed the tour and live interaction! There was a lot of information, but everything is exciting and I want to listen to more. Special thanks for the photos and videos - Tanya and this pro. We don't know how to photograph. The next day we booked a trip through the picturesque villages and it was beyond any expectations! Such beauty and Dutch doll towns and villages! We were in the mills, barely a farmer's cheese, and on Volendam Quay herring and eel. Special thanks for the equipment that allows you to hear the guide perfectly from 15 subways away! Every word is clear! Very comfortable and bright. A real celebration for everyone. Come to the tulip fields in April and we know exactly who we'll turn to.

Response from the operator: ОО КАк приятно читать такой теплый отзыв ! тысяча поцелуев и обнимашек . Жду с нетерпением в следующий раз

We really enjoyed it! Best guide

We've only been in Amsterdam 24 hours. Tanya and I have done a lot more than planned in 24 hours. We were picked up right from the airport and we went to the Zaanse open-air mill museums and the klomp museums, and we tasted real farmer's Dutch cheese and herring in Volendama, and Edam is a fairy tale in general. The car is large and comfortable (crossover) has water and wifi , which is very important when the phone is roaming. We decided to take another evening tour of Amsterdam and it was gorgeous too! So many secret places of interest we would never find ourselves. Perhaps the best guide, in our experience of approximately 50 countries .Well-choreographed speech, fascinating storytelling, wonderful sense of humor and goodwill! Thank you so much!

Countryside tour Zaanse Chances windmills museum and Volendam: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.

How much does Countryside tour Zaanse Chances windmills museum and Volendam cost?

    +

Prices start at $829 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Countryside tour Zaanse Chances windmills museum and Volendam take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.

Is Countryside tour Zaanse Chances windmills museum and Volendam worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Countryside tour Zaanse Chances windmills museum and Volendam?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Countryside tour Zaanse Chances windmills museum and Volendam suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Countryside tour Zaanse Chances windmills museum and Volendam?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Countryside tour Zaanse Chances windmills museum and Volendam start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?

    +

On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amsterdam?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
