It’s not a Resort
The resort is not a Resort, it’s a run down restaurant with access to a beach.

Overwhelmed but refreshed
The beach itself was nice. There was some entertainment on the beach which was fun to watch. The worst part was the vendors. When you first get there they immediately surround and overwhelm you. After about 20 minutes we were finally able to enjoy the water.

Authentic and Mexican experience
Once we got out of the ship the super helpful people got us in the right taxi (watch out for the imposters). The right people are in branded polos. Then the beach was a short drive away. We are Spanish speakers so I guess that is what made it so smooth for us but the warm and friendly Mexican people on top of the beautiful beach made this day great. Yes the restaurant is rustic but the food is pretty good and it sat well with me. Jose was very attentive. If you don’t like people then this is not for you.

Not a great beach
This was reasonably priced considering it included a margarita or shot of tequila and the cab fair which is $5 per person each way. It also included a table to sit at and lounge chairs. The beach was nothing special and I thought the price of the food and alcohol for purchase was too high. The worst though is that like the other reviewers said, there was steady traffic of vendors trying to sell stuff on the beach as well as entertainers soliciting money. They weren’t real aggressive but it was constant and made me feel uncomfortable and took away from the peaceful environment.

Food was not worth the...
Food was not worth the price. Be prepared to be harassed every 2 mins from locals to purchase a product. You can’t even relax or enjoy the beach because of the locals. Non of the atms work in the area as well
