About this experience
At Pronoia Casa de Playa we host a maximum of 15 cruise guests per day. This is not a busy beach club: it's a small, family-run beachfront house 27 minutes from the port, where the crowds end and the reef begins. 100 meters of private beach, a floating platform, hammocks, and a rooftop with sea and jungle views. We run on solar power and harvested rainwater. It's not a luxury resort — it's a relaxed place for travelers who value authenticity, nature, and being treated like a person rather than a number. You'll be back at the port 2 hours before all-aboard. Guaranteed. Sargassum: if seaweed conditions are poor on the day of your visit, we will send you photos before you leave the port and you can cancel for a full refund. We would rather lose a booking than have you spend your only day ashore somewhere you don't want to be.

Beautiful beach club as a day trip from the cruise ship
We were at the beach club for a day this April on our cruise and it was dreamy! The coral reef was huge and the beach was beautiful, except for a bit of seaweed, which we were already told about on the cruise ship; only because of this detail do I give it 4 points. Otherwise, everything was fantastic. In addition, the food was delicious and there was fresh fish from the sea. Highly recommended!

Unforgettable day: excellent service and great honesty!
I spent an incredible day at Pronoia Casa de Playa and it exceeded all my expectations. If you are looking for an escape from the chaos and stress, this is the perfect place in the Mexican Caribbean. An extra point for their great honesty: before my arrival they kindly warned me that there was a bit of sargassum on the beach. This level of transparency is rare and highly appreciated. Despite this, the staff did a fantastic job keeping the place welcoming and comfortable. The boutique atmosphere is intimate and relaxed, surrounded by wonderful nature between jungle and sea. I was able to rest, enjoy a delicious lunch, and drink very cold beers in front of a splendid view. The journey to get there is absolutely worth it to find this level of peace. I will definitely go back!

Unforgettable place and experience!
I spent some time at Casa Pronoia and I still miss this place. It’s just paradise in the jungle. The colors and sounds of the palms, ocean, birds, and iguanas just chilling in the sun make you feel really relaxed. Perfect place to chill in a hammock on the beach, swim, or go snorkeling. You can even learn how to open a coconut or relax on the rooftop and watch the stars. Great margaritas, nice food, and like-minded people around. The owner Chino puts a lot of energy and care into this place. I highly recommend Casa Pronoia ❤️

Unforgettable
The place is wonderful, the staff guys very friendly and the food very rich, I was looking for a place where I could relax from the noise of people and certainly this place has everything. The beach is beautiful and my daughter loved it, I would definitely come back here. It is far away but worth living this experience even for a few hours and that makes it unique.

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Costa Maya All-Inclusive Beach Club Day Pass — Max 15 Guests: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Costa Maya.
How much does Costa Maya All-Inclusive Beach Club Day Pass — Max 15 Guests cost?
+
Prices start at $59 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Costa Maya usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Costa Maya All-Inclusive Beach Club Day Pass — Max 15 Guests take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Costa Maya is not rushed.
Is Costa Maya All-Inclusive Beach Club Day Pass — Max 15 Guests worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Costa Maya, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Costa Maya All-Inclusive Beach Club Day Pass — Max 15 Guests?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Costa Maya All-Inclusive Beach Club Day Pass — Max 15 Guests suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Costa Maya All-Inclusive Beach Club Day Pass — Max 15 Guests?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Costa Maya can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Costa Maya and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Costa Maya All-Inclusive Beach Club Day Pass — Max 15 Guests start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Costa Maya within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Costa Maya?
+
On Outty we rank every Costa Maya experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Costa Maya Shore Excursion Chacchoben Day Trip, Chacchoben & Bacalar Combo Excursion Costa Maya, Bacalar – 7 Colors Lagoon Excursión Costa Maya. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Costa Maya?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Costa Maya?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
