Beautiful coastal sights with a great guide.
I’ll start by saying that I am not someone that is “in shape” so the level I would give this hike is not beginner. With that said, our tour guide, Bernait was amazing! He made it fun and helped me through some difficult spots. Resting when I needed it. The experience was worth it because the sites were phenomenal. We enjoyed the history and the food as well. Tossa de Mar was slowing down for the season. If you want the full experience of the town, go earlier than October. Although it was perfect weather for the 5 mile hike 75 F.

Hike with Amazing Views
Communication was great and we were picked up right near our AirB&B. We enjoyed a wonderful day hiking this trail with amazing views!! Ramon took pictures for us, gave us free time for lunch after the hike and to explore the quaint town of Tossa de Mar. He then spent time guiding us through the castle/fort that remains in this town and we enjoyed all the information and tour. He is a wonderful guide and a great person. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience and explore the coastline of Costa Brava. Because it was not a warm day we did not swim, but normally you would have time to swim/snorkel and picnic on the beautiful beach. This is a great private/small group experience!!

Costa Brava hike
Our family of four (teenagers) really enjoyed our Costa Brava tour. It would have been difficult to figure out how to do the loop hike on our own and greatly appreciated the extra information our guide was able to give us including a great lunch recommendation. Definitely recommend this tour.

Worth the trip
Ramon is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable of the flora and fauna as well as the history of the area and Barcelona in general.

Amazing views great hike
Wish there had been more time to enjoy the beach! There were parts of the trail that required steep climbing however overall the views were absolutely stunning. Our tour guide Christian was absolutely amazing and helped our group traverse the more difficult sections. He was patient, knowledgeable and we enjoyed the snacks that were provided. A small part of the hike was through a new campsite/road, however in November it was empty which enhanced our experience of a semiprivate beach cove. Approx 5 mile hike.

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Costa Brava Hike & Tossa de Mar: Small Group Tour from Barcelona: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does Costa Brava Hike & Tossa de Mar: Small Group Tour from Barcelona cost?
+
Prices start at $144 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Costa Brava Hike & Tossa de Mar: Small Group Tour from Barcelona take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is Costa Brava Hike & Tossa de Mar: Small Group Tour from Barcelona worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Costa Brava Hike & Tossa de Mar: Small Group Tour from Barcelona?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Costa Brava Hike & Tossa de Mar: Small Group Tour from Barcelona suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Costa Brava Hike & Tossa de Mar: Small Group Tour from Barcelona?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Costa Brava Hike & Tossa de Mar: Small Group Tour from Barcelona start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
