What you'll see and do
Corinth Canal
We will begin with a drive along the coast. On the way you will view of some Greek seaside villages and the island of Salamis (where the historical naval battle took place between the Athenians and the Persians). Our first stop the Corinth Canal. Opened in 1892 separating the Peloponnese peninsula from the rest of Greece and connecting the Saronic Gulf to the Corinthian Sea. You will have time to walk across on a pedestrian bridge to admire the canal closer, (if you’re game) on some days bungee jumping is an option.

Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos)
Ancient Corinth, located at the foot of the hill includes the Roman Agora of Corinth, the temple of God Apollo and a small museum. Apart from its archaeological and historical interest Ancient Corinth is also one of the most popular religious destinations in Greece as this was where the Apostle Paul preached Christianity, was judged by the tribunal in the Agora and established the best organized Christian church of that period.

Temple of Apollo
We will visit the Temple of Apollo which is located in the in the Ancient city of Corinth. The temple of Apollo at Corinth is one of the earliest Doric temples in the Peloponnese and the Greek mainland. Built around 560 B.C.E., of local monolithic limestone on top of an imposing, rocky hill to the north of Acrocorinth, the Archaic temple was an emblem for the Greek city of Corinth, reflecting its growth and prosperity.

Absolutely take this tour
It was an amazing experience with Theodore! He was absolutely amazing. He was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and just honestly a delight. He called ahead to coordinate all of our stops to make great use of our time. Despite the fact that it was a national holiday and we went significantly over the budgeted time for the tour, Theodore said "don't worry about time. You're on your vacation - make memories." And we did! Corinth was awesome. Do not miss. The olive tasting was fascinating and lunch was very fun. Getting out of the city to see the views is not to be missed. We had a fabulous time.- can't imagine coming to Athens and missing this experience. Great driver and great tour. I'd highly recommend.

Informative, relaxing, and fun
Our tour of ancient Corinth, Corinth Canal, and the olive grove was outstanding! It was lovely to get out of Athens and see some of the countryside, and to receive insights from our very knowledgeable driver. Nikos was an absolute encyclopedia of knowledge, everything from history to archeology to fun facts, and on top of all that, he was just a really nice guy! Touring the olive oil production facility was very informative, with a lovely guide, and the tasting was perfectly executed. As well, they had a fantastic shop where many olive oil products could be purchased. My husband and I felt that this tour was a real highlight on our trip, and highly recommend it.

Excellent
We had an excellent experience. The Corinth Canal, Olive Oil tasting , ancient Corinth, excellent lunch at a quaint local spot and so much more! There are not enough words to tell how excellent our guide, Andreas, was! We felt like we had made a wonderful friend and his love and knowledge for his country is so evident! History, fruit, olive oil and reasons to come back!
We booked a private day tour to Corinth, including an stop at the canal, a fortress, and a local Olive Oil Company. We were picked up promptly at our flat in a clean vehicle with a friendly welcoming smile. Alex was such a pleasure to spend the day with. We discussed Greek politics, economy, history, and language. He was engaging and happy to have genuine and honest conversation no matter what our questions. A wealth of knowledge and a kind demeanor. We will happily book with him again when we return to spend more time exploring the region. The cost is worth the experience and benefits to not have to wait for bus loads of strangers and traffic. It truly felt like we were just on the road hanging out with a local friend. We were even able to stop by a small local market on the way to pickup some regional fruit.
