    We had a great experience...

We had a great experience with Bernie! We got a lot of historical context to the ruins while also being told in a story-esque way. It was a great day trip & we loved ending the trip in Nafplio! Would definitely recommend, especially to escape the bustling city of Athens to a more relaxed, less crowded space!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind feedback. We’re pleased that Bernie’s informative and engaging approach enhanced your experience and that you enjoyed discovering both the historical sites and the relaxed atmosphere of Nafplio. We appreciate your recommendation and we hope to welcome you on another tour soon. Best Regards, Tag Athens Team

    Stay away from this tour

The tour guide did not speak good English and it was very hard to understand also the last city where it stopped for lunch they didn’t give us enough time there. Also this tour when advertised it leads you to believe that the Corinth Canal will be crossed on a boat and that is not the case. Very misleading

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the experience did not meet your expectations. Our tours are conducted in English by licensed guides who host international groups daily, though we understand individual comprehension may vary. The itinerary, including the scheduled lunch break and the short stop at the Corinth Canal for photos and refreshments, is clearly outlined in the tour description prior to booking, and we always encourage guests to review these details carefully before confirming their reservation. The tour is delivered strictly in line with the published itinerary to ensure consistency for all participants. Best Regards, Tag Athens team

Corinth, Mycenea and Nafplion Private Tour

This was an outstanding day, and Mr. Georgio was exceptional! He was full of so much information and answered our hundreds of questions. He went out of his way to show us everything possible and see all the beauty that this area of Greece has to offer. The lunch provided was outstanding! Take this tour with Mr. Georgio if you get the chance - it is an adventure you will never forget!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. We’re delighted that Mr. Georgio helped create such a memorable experience and that both the tour and lunch were highlights of your day. We look forward to welcoming you on another tour soon. Best Regards, Tag Athens Team

Corinth Canal, Mycenae & Nafplio Small group Tour with Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.

How much does Corinth Canal, Mycenae & Nafplio Small group Tour with Guide cost?

    +

Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Corinth Canal, Mycenae & Nafplio Small group Tour with Guide take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.

Is Corinth Canal, Mycenae & Nafplio Small group Tour with Guide worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 121 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Corinth Canal, Mycenae & Nafplio Small group Tour with Guide?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Corinth Canal, Mycenae & Nafplio Small group Tour with Guide suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Corinth Canal, Mycenae & Nafplio Small group Tour with Guide?

    +

Around 42 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Corinth Canal, Mycenae & Nafplio Small group Tour with Guide start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

    +

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
